Hey, where's Bobby? Oh well, it's awesome that they really turned this into a show, I hope it's good.

Robin Thicke - Love After War Video
This video actually came out last Monday, but I never gave it a look because I was still pretty disappointed Robin Thicke tried to go pop on his last album. Thank goodness I got over that bullshit because this song (and video) is great! No more of that "please play me on the radio" crap from 2009, just the good old Thicke music I started fucking with in 2002 after Sprite commercial came out.
Now I'm totally looking forward to his new album Love After War, which drops this Tuesday December 6th. Hopefully he maintains that style of music I've been drawn to so much over these past 10 years, and made him a mainstream artist in 2006.

Robin Thicke - So Cold (feat. Swizz Beatz)
I like it, but if that drum beat was eliminated, or even turned down a bit, it'd be MUCH better. I don't hate it in general, but they ruin the feel of the song. Either way, I'm feeling it.

Still the same top 10, but there is a new #1. This has been in the making for a few weeks, but after 5 weeks on top Jay-Z's Empire State Of Mind gets bumped by Ke$ha's TiK Tok. Its a really terrible song, but whatever, people like what they like.

This Week In Flops 12/15/09
A Surprisingly slow album release day for a December. Probably fitting for the way my website has been looking lately. My keyboard is SHIT! But I'll be back full swing soon. Lets do this for now.
Maybe its a little bit of both?? Either way Alicia might as well get ready now for the lowest sales week in her career. I'll give her 160-190k.
Do you think Robin Thicke is still sore from being fucked by all the rappers featured on this album?? I mean seriously, I don't think I've ever heard a worst collection of unnecessary features in my life. And why were there so many features anyway?? An album named Sex Therapy probably shouldn't have any rap features, let alone 5.
Anyway, I think interest in Robin Thicke is up right now, but the promo for this album is definitely lacking. Besides Trey Songz, I'd say Robin Thicke is the ladies favorite right now, but I didn't even know the album was dropping until it leaked last week. That's never a good sign. I'll go with 80-120k, but wouldn't be surprised if it were more or less.

R. Kelly - Pregnant (feat. Tyrese, Robin Thicke, & The-Dream)
The count down is on for Somebody's Gonna Get Pregnant Day so the last song I'm gonna post is the new official song of SGGP, Pregnant by R. Kelly, Tyrese, Robin Thicke, and The-Dream. On the surface this song is terribly irresponsible because there will be plenty teens that'll hear this and think its cool to get pregnant. It really isn't cool or cute unless you're in a stable relationship and don't have piles of bills to worry about.... or homework lol.
To be fair though, you can't really blame R. Kelly for these hoin' ass young girls these days because they'd still be getting knocked up regardless.

Robin Thicke - Sex Therapy Video
Dammit, I gotta learn how to sing so I can get up on some of these hoes! Not really the super skinny ones in this video, but some of them bad ones in other videos I post. Its about time for a playa to come up!

Robin Thicke - Meiplé (feat. Jay-Z)
Where in the hell did they get this old ass sounding beat from?? This the kinda shit you can only truly enjoy while wearing a zoot suit. The kinda shit they used to place when night clubs were still referred to as "jook joints." And was somebody playing a washboard in the background?? What the fuck?? This beat is on some ol' WB frog meets that racist Tom and Jerry song "is you is, or is you ain't my baby" shit. I was expecting somebody in black-face to come out of my speakers and start tap dancing on my computer desk. I definitely ain't fuckin' with this beat.
The song itself is decent. I wasn't really feeling Hov's verse, but I guess I kinda like the part when he called Beyonce "Little Tina" (as in Turner for the slow). Either way, this song should've been A LOT better.
"Buzzin' like a bee, but nope I don't sting-a-ling. Jing-o-ling-o-ling, I show 'em the middle finger ring. Ting-a-ling-a-ling! School bell a ring-a-ling, stick shift the ding-a-ling, ball like Yao Ming-a-ling. Excuse me, what happened? I'm flyer than a robin. I'm flyer than an eagle, yeah Donovan Mc-a-Nabbin'. And when I pop that pussy, I pop it on his Suzuki. I pop it so crazy, cuckie, I'm back in them daisy dukies."
What the fuck?? And this is the chick y'all would call me a hater for not liking?? AIGHT!
I feel bad for Thicke because these niggas are robbing his ass with these lame ass verse. I'm not loving the direction the new album is going in so far, but hopefully he can recover. If a Soulja Boy or Gucci Mane song is next I might have to re-evaluate my long standing Robin Thicke fandom.

Baby Making Season Approaches...
What they know about my dude Thicke?! This shit is HOT! The beat was probably just a little too loud in this version, but I still love it anyway. Its just about pregnancy season so hopefully there's a full-length album coming to go with this track. I think I'm gonna have to go find my Evolution Of Robin Thicke CD to jam on the way to work today.
Damn I love these soul singers from the UK! Amy, Adele, Joss, Duffy, these girls are BAD! Young black girls trying to be R&B singers you are all on notice, step your game up! These UK chicks are bringing more soul to the table and we invented this shit.
Anyway, this song is stupid hot! How hot, you may be asking? So hot that I wouldn't even mind if Nas' verse was left off! Now that's hot!
The skycap concept was a bit of a stretch, but I love the vibe of this song. This might be a monster once it gets mixed down and everything. Timbo could've not said anything on the track, but I didn't mind it that much so its all good.
So there is still a real artist inside of R. Kelly somewhere. Hearing Kellz making a joint like this is refreshing because I was getting tired of him riding T-Pain and The-Dream's coattail like he wasn't that nigga in the R&B for a solid decade. Its not quite Chocolate Factory shit yet, but he's getting warmer. We really need him to get back in the studio and finish that song Baby Girl with Pharrell if he hasn't already!
Another song about Rihanna?? He only about 3 or 4 leaked songs into a comeback and half them shits either been about Rihanna or can be interpreted to be about Rihanna. I think he might be in the "Puff Daddy after he loss J. Lo" zone right now so maybe we should just prepare ourselves for more songs of this ilk.
Whatever, this nigga still has a terrible singing voice to me either.
Now I very well could've heard it wrong, but a little after 2 minutes in, did T-Pain say he was in booty dance contests in 1994 and the crowd cheered him on??
Here's the lyric:
"I wish, we could go, back to 1994! With the booty dance-offs, all on the boulevard. And they be like, 'Go T-Pain, do your G thang'..."
Again, I could be totally wrong, but that sounds like what he said to me lol.
Nigga this shit is terrible lol. Hoodies were hot in like were 2006-2007, its 2009 and damn near 2010! Its too soon to try to bring them back. Making this wack ass song ain't gonna help the cause either lol.

Rick Ross - Lay Back (feat. Robin Thicke)
Was Robin Thicke shooting a video or doing a GQ spread?? I couldn't tell. Nevertheless, I liked the video a lot. The song is pretty generic, but the video was very stylish and I fucks with that, just don't be too surprised if you see Thicke in the November or December issue of GQ and think to yourself, "Damn, this looks familiar!" I'm just saying...
February 11, 2009
Robin Thicke - Dreamworld Video
I'm surprised he decided to make this a single, I figured he'd go with the song directly following it, Loverman. I probably figured that because it was my favorite song on the album lol. I like Dreamworld too, but Loverman is the shit! Perfect slow sex song.
Speaking of Thicke, why wasn't Something Else nominated for anything at the Grammy's?? Weird.

Robin Thicke - The Sweetest Love
My boy Thicke is back with his 2nd single and I see he's sticking with the formula that worked for him last go-round (upbeat first single, smooth, slow second single).
If you can't get any off a track like this, the problem is you lol.

Muzik!!
Here's a few tracks I found over the past few days.
Robin Thicke Feat. Mary J. Blige - Magic (Remix)
Go Mary!
Jazmine Sullivan Feat. T.I. & Missy - Need U Bad (Remix)
I pray that T.I. did his verse acappella because the way he came in sounded a bit off to me. He got it together though and the track is hot though I think a remix for this record just might be a bit premature.
DJ Khaled Feat. Akon - Cocaine Cowboys
N.O.R.E.'s version was better...MUCH better. I fuck with this shit though, N.O.R.E.'s was just exceptional.
Stuntman Feat. Shawty Lo - Don't I (T.I. Diss)
Its about damn time he went at T.I. on wax because those no-name DVD interviews were getting tired.
Nelly - Warrior
Alright...
Usher - Bad Mutha
Interesting...
Hotstylz Feat. T-Pain - Assume The Position
This is a pretty straight song, but they've got to realize they probably won't be able to do anything major in the game. Its HARD for niggas with these gimmicky songs to come back so the odds are stacked against them.
Lupe Fiasco - Gangsta (Unreleased)
I wonder where all these old ass Lupe records are coming from??
Git Fresh - Wet
I definitely fuck with this joint!
July 22, 2008
Muzik Pt. 2
Joell Ortiz - Memories
Joell is fuckin' incredible!
Freeway - Freedom Of Speech
Maybe this got left off his Free At Last...or maybe he's working on a new album?? I'm hoping for the latter!
Lupe Fiasco - The Commercial
Don't know if this is real or old, but its Lupe so its here.
Ja Rule - Rules Of Engagement
I hope Ja made a whole new one because that one that never dropped that year seems to be leaking on the 'net track by track.
Ja Rule Feat. Robin Thicke - Pushin' It
Ice Cube Feat. WC & The Game - Get Used To It
Not feelin' the beat, but the song is straight. If this is the new Westside Connection they're gonna have to come harder than this. Oh and Cube is gonna have to bring his flow into the new millennium lol.
Ciara - Lights On (Lights Off)
This really doesn't sound much like Ciara, but I love her anyway lol.
Rhymefest - Bring It Back (Prod. By DJ Jazzy Jeff)
Rhymefest - Real Nigga Quotes (Prod. By DJ Premier)
Gorilla Zoe Feat. Lil Wayne - Lost
Now I'm lost lol.
July 17, 2008
Freeway - Its Drought Time (Hero Freestyle)
Freeway - Its Drought Time (Hero Freestyle)
Go Free! I like that Juvenile shit man I was just listening to 400 Degreez a few weeks ago lol. Anyway, I wonder why everybody isn't jumping on this beat I mean its like 1000x harder than A Milli, but whatever you know niggas.
This next record is a little bonus that is also blazing hot! I doubt its the official remix, but 2 records might be a sign that a new mixtape is coming. I guess we'll have to wait and see but that Free At Last is still jammin'!
Robin Thicke Feat. Freeway - Magic (Remix)
You know I'm surprised this record has yet to make any moves on Billboard. Its a pretty dope record and Thicke is coming off a platinum run. Oh well, Evolution Of Robin Thicke was out for a minute before Lost Without You caught on so hopefully this won't stop him for dropping his new record.
June 26, 2008
Eve Feat. Robin Thicke - Fantasy
I dunno what the fuck is up with Eve's new project, but the push backs have brought us full circle a year later. Hopefully the album drops eventually. This is the new first single maybe??
Eve Feat. Robin Thicke - Fantasy
Kinda hot, I can fuck with it, but I dunno how much the radio will. You know them niggas are fickle lol.
June 04, 2008
Robin Thicke - Magic
I don't know if Something Else is still on schedule to drop July 1st, but this is the sweet first single Magic.
Robin Thicke - Magic
I fuck with this joint. I don't know if it'll be as big of a monster smash hit as Lost Without U, but its a great start for this new project. I guess we'll all have to wait and see if it drops when Wiki says.
April 16, 2008
Robin Thicke's New Album Drops July 1st!
I dunno if y'all knew this, but I've been a huge fan of Thicke since '02 when that Sprite commercial so this new album dropping is great news to/for me. The album is gonna be called Something Else and I AM AMP'D! [FULL STORY]
