Justin Bieber - Runaway Love (Remix) (feat. Kanye West & Raekwon)
I can say with confidence that I never thought I'd hear a collaboration with Justin Bieber and Raekwon. I ain't mad at Rae for it either.
As far as the song goes, it's pretty damn hot. Of course the Bieber portions are excruciating to listen to, but Rae and Kanye ripped their verses. I'm down with this shit, though I probably won't bump it unless theirs a Bieber-less verse on the horizon.

Joe Budden Speaks On Getting His Eye Dotted
While I was letting off steam from showing up to work Saturday to find out the building was closed and the fact nobody bothered to tell me, Joe Budden was getting a mean one across the eye. I have no idea what happened so here's the word from Xclusiveszone.net:
Raekwon came in with like 7 people and a camera while Joe Budden was streaming live and confronted Joe Budden about his apology video. Joe Budden then stopped streaming and was punched in the eye by one of the people with Raekwon. The punch was filmed by Raekwon and footage should be surfacing soon. Joe Budden is streaming now live talking about what happened. I will be updating as the story continues. Via Xclusiveszone.net.
Quite random. I thought that beef was over anyway?? And why are these ninjas so concerned about defending Method Man's honor when he's not?? I don't know, this was just dumb, but Joey probably had this coming for awhile lol.

I'm not gonna lie, I definitely don't love this. The beat is just bad and makes me not wanna listen to the lyrics, which I'm sure were hot. Rae put out better shit than this as just throw-away shit.

Inspectah Deck - House Nigga (Joe Budden Diss)
Uh-oh! Inspectah Deck is taking up for Meth and bringing it right to Joe Budden's door step!
For some reason I decided not to write about the Method Man and Joe Budden feud (it was not really a beef), but mark this as the starting point to FiyahMuZik.com's coverage!
As far as the Deck diss goes, it started off pretty slow, but it really picked up at about 1 minute in after he did the "name 3 Joe Budden songs" line. After that point its was pretty much all flames. Joey is gonna have to come with it and not half-ass it like he did in the Saigon battle. I don't know what he's gonna say, but I'm hoping for something mean and vicious!
Question: Now that another member from Wu-Tang jumped in, is it fair for a member of Slaughterhouse to jump in??

I guess Cons is going to make a video for every track on his album (including the skits) until he gets another release date because this is literally at least his 9th video lol. Its all good if that's what he wants to do, but yeah anyway this song is tight! I even like John Legend's lil rap at the end. Speaking of the Legend, I went to buy my mom and best friend Daphne his live cd/dvd thing that you can only get at Target and those things were gone like a muthafucka! I was only able to find one (I stumbled on it somewhere out of place, someone probably was trying to hide it for later lol) and now I don't know who to give it to. Thanks John lol.
Anyway, was it just me or was that Consequence and video girl kiss at the end like one of the top 5 grossest looking kisses caught on camera in the history of... ever?? I just need to know I'm not alone lol.

Myspace Friends DON'T Equal Record Sales!
I got about 25 tabs open on my Firefox right now so its time to start unloading shit, strap on ya' seat belt and get ya' popcorn ready!
First up is this video by Ghostface Killah asking his fans why y'all don't cop his shit. I'll talk more after you peep the footage:
118,609 as of right now to be exact. Now, I don't wanna diss Ghost or anything, but this is kinda the problem with the older rapper still doing it and aren't really up with the times. The first thing Ghost needs to know before he makes this argument again is that Myspace friend don't equal record sales. I mean it would be nice if that was the case, but anyone with any kind of music business sense knows it's not. Even if it was, selling 118,609 copies isn't that great anyway. On top of all of that, after how many weeks is this whole friends equaling record sales supposed to match?? After one week?? After 12 weeks?? When?? I don't think Ghostface has reached 118,609 with a debut of 35,600, but when he does then will he be happy?? I doubt it lol.
Now, I'm just gonna go over some examples of why thinking Myspace friends is a good barometer for albums sales is retarded:
Lupe Fiasco has 568,443 friends on Myspace. His album The Cool has been on the charts for 5 weeks and he's sold 268,300.
Soulja Boy has 666,906 friends on Myspace. His album Souljaboytellem.com has been on the charts for 15 weeks and sold 711,200.
Now here's the ball buster, Alicia Keys' album As I Am has sold 2,786,500 after just 10 weeks on the charts, but she has only 507,786 friends on Myspace! That's less than both Lupe and Soulja Boy yet she's sold more records than the both of them combined...TWICE!

This Week In Flops 12/11/07
Wassup y'all?? This cold finally seems to be going away so I'm back to work! Sorry I didn't make Tuesday, but its all good you guys love me anyway ;-).
Anyway, big day in music which equals an even bigger day in flops (who knows why people don't realize its not a good idea to drop your album on the same day as 32 other albums drop or drop in the weeks following a major release like Kanye West or Alicia Keys, but I guess that's just the story of our lives lol).
First up is Bow Wow and Omarion's Face Off. I heard the album was wack, but that's not really the point here lol. The real point is that it just wasn't a good idea in the first place. I like Omarion and Bow is straight but together? Not so much (I think that Designated Driver turned me off to the idea of this album lol). Well, whatever the case may be they're still gonna flop. If this came out in January or at least a week when a ton of other shit was droppin' I'd say it'd do like 250k first week BUT since that's not the case I'm guessing this album will be good for about 110-130k.
Next up is arguably the most annoying new artist to hit the scene, The-Dream, and his debut album Love/Hate. I mean besides the fact this dude looks like a lame and wrote some of the worst song of 2007...fuck it, no one is more annoying the Soulja Boy BTW is he still around?? Whatever lol. Shawty Is A Ten is wack and he's not gonna sell blah blah blah 50-60k.
The original Mr. Molester himself, Birdman, checks in next with his more than likely trash album 5*Stunna. For some reason he thinks a Blood now or whatever...who really cares, his album is gonna flop, 45-55k.
Beans is back! I got a review for this album coming soon so be on the look out for that. Until then go cop this album because its probably not doing much more than 25k.
Wow, where did this album come from?? I dunno what to say about it since I didn't it was coming out so I'm guessing it'll do about 25-40k.
We all love the Wu-Tang Clan, but lets just be honest for a minute: this project was going nowhere from the start. The fact that they are seemingly at odds with each other only adds fuel to the fire an probably isn't gonna help this album sell (them not having a single isn't helping either). This is really a lost cause, 30-40k.
This is last of course because its gonna flop like hell! I don't see this shit doing anything more than 10k. I guess that's all you can ask for from trash.

Damn I got this video the other day and didn't post it and now the whole web has it and I look like I'm behind lol. Oh well, all I know is that this new Wu album better suck pretty bad for Rae to be going off like this! Well its not really going off like DMX or nothing like that, but...just watch the videos lol:
