These Presidential picks are becoming an annual thing, huh?? Anyway, it looks like Shaq isn't the only one rooting for the Lake Show in the Finals as Mr. President sided with Kobe Tuesday on his plane ride to Saudia Arabia. So For Pres. O is 2 for 2 with his Presidential picks, lets see if he can swing 3 for 3.

3) Mickael Pietrus Will Not Where His Kobes In Finals
He better not have! That's common sense. It would've been actually news worthy if he said he was gonna bust Kobe's ass while wearing his shoes. That would've been epic lol.

4) DeAngelo Hall Isn't Happy With His 'Madden 10' Rating
I don't blame him, he's dropping a whopping 25 points from a 93 on 09 to a 68 on 10! That's MAJOR! EA Sports didn't even consider that he played half the season for the Raiders and the other half trying to pick up the Redskins playbook. I'm not saying he should still be in the 90s, but mid-80s would be more appropriate.

Free agency is under way as of last night at 12:00 AM, so lets catch up with the dealings so far.

1) Nooo!: Albert Hanesworth, Redskins Agree On 7-Yr/$100M deal
Fuck! I mean its not like I wanted Hanesworth to come to Dallas (I'm pretty happy with Jay Ratliff), but I sure as hell didn't want the man on a team we play 2 times a season! Dammit!

2) Cowboys Release Brad Johnson
This isn't really a #2 story, but I needed a quick pick-me-up after the #1 story lol.

3) DeAngelo Hall, Redskins Agree On $54M Deal
Not as bad news as #1, but it surely isn't good. I'm actually still kinda mad we didn't even make a serious run at him when he got cut by the Raiders considering all the injuries we had in our secondary.

4) Fred Taylor Agrees To Join Patriots
Man, and I used to like Fred too...now I can't because he's a Patriot and I HATE the Patriots. I hate them probably even more than any team in the NFC East lol.

5) Ravens Lose Bart Scott To Jets
Wow, I didn't see this coming. I thought if anybody was leaving it would be Ray Lewis since he's the elder. Welp I think this is gonna leave B-More with enough cash to re-sign Ray if he wants to return. I'd love to have Ray in Dallas, but I don't know how he'd like coming off the bench because Bradie James is staying in the starting line-up no matter what.

6) Dolphins Sign S Gibril Wilson
What??? He was available and the Cowboys didn't even try to make a run at him???? We need a new SS seeing that Roy Williams is probably on his way out, and even if he wasn't, I'm sure Gibril would still be a better alternative. Come on Jerry, its time to get active!

7) Texans trade Rosenfels to Vikings
The Vikings had to do something because that kid Jackson was nothing short of TERRIBLE in that wildcard loss to the Eagles.

8) Giants, Jacobs Agree On 4-Yr/$25M Extension
No surprise here, though I don't know how much football Jacobs is gonna have left in those bad knees. I say about 2 more good to decent years.

9) Bucs Release 5 Veterans
I know this happened the other day, but the Bucs have released basically everybody on their roster that we knew besides Tiki Barber's bother lol. Warrick Dunn, Derrick Brooks, Cato June, Joey Galloway, and Ike Hilliard were all shown the door.

1) Falcons Looking To Trade Right To Michael Vick
If you're wondering who's gonna trade for him, the answer is nobody. Not saying that nobody wants or needs him, but nobody is dumb enough to trade for that contract of $9 million a year plus bonuses for Vick and his uncertain future. If you had a team, would you put $9 million against your cap for a player you're not even sure is gonna get reinstated?? Of course not.

Now, once the Falcons release him, that's another story and I think he'll get picked up quickly at a veteran minimum.

2) Giants Franchise RB Jacobs
The Giants are probably gonna give him a big contract and if they do, they'll regret it in 2-3 years because this huge back with bad knees can't possibly have much left in the tank lol.

Raiders Waive Hall...Should My 'Boys Sign Him??

Late last night after Barack's acceptance speech I came in my room and got online to see the reaction. Eventually I ended up on ESPN.com and saw this article about the Raiders thinking about cutting CB DeAngelo Hall. Of course as a fan of a team with a depleted secondary I got super excited because I thought we should've got him once he became available over the summer. Now he's officially released, should be go sign him??

There had to be a reason the Raiders were cutting him...well besides Al Davis aging into a fuckin' moron. Was Hall actually playing that bad?? I don't get many Oakland games staying down here in Fort Lauderdale but...fuck this shit, he can't be playing any worse than we did when the lowly Rams lit us up a few weeks ago. He can't be playing any worse than Terence Newman, he's on the sideline. He can't be playing any worse than Pacman, he's suspended...again. Jerry, bring this guy in! Any playing bad for the Raiders and has 3 interceptions this season...we have only have 3 interceptions this season as a team! Lets go get him!
