Why???: Michael Irvin Gets Moist For Out Magazine
Now I'm all for gay rights and equality and blah blah blah, but seriously, what the fuck? Being on the cover of Out magazine is fine, doing an interview with Out magazine is fine, but this picture is just unacceptable. Shit, you might as well had posed for a gay porno magazine as sensitive as this cover is.
I get it Mike, your brother was gay, but how is posing like every male Lady Gaga fan's fantasy on Out magazine going to help the cause? If anything, it distracts from the point because it brings your own sexuality into question. I mean, how am I not supposed to wonder what you were doing for coke back before you were getting those NFL checks?? Couldn't you just wear a nice little suit and call it a day? There are actual gay men on the cover of this magazine that look less gay than you, Mike.
I'm just so lost and confused right now. I'm gonna need more time to recover from this than Shaq with a toe injury. I'm still holding out hope that this picture was Photoshopped, but I'm aware how slim those chances are.

Jesse Holley Wins '4th & Long'
Anyway, Holley will report to San Antonio for training camp July 29th where he'll compete for one of the Cowboys' 5 or 6 WR spots on the active roster. The Cowboys currently have 11 receivers vying for those spots, 4 of which are locks (Roy Williams, Miles Austin, Sam Hurd, and Patrick Crayton). We shall see what happens, but like I said earlier, I'd take Holley over Isaiah Stanback anyday. I just hope the 'Boys also decide to pick up Hawkins for his special teams ability alone!

Monday Night TV Dilemma
Damn, this didn't even hit me until a few minutes ago, but I have a conflict of interest in tonight's 10pm time slot. First off, I've actually been watching Michael Irvin's "4th & Long" all season and tonight is the finale so I definitely wanna see who wins that and gets a spot on the Cowboys.
Now, at the same time "The T.O. Show" starts and I wanna see that shit too. I know I definitely am not a huge fan like I was pre naked-poster-gate, but I still wanna see AT LEAST the first episode. Not to mention there's no way Skip Bayless isn't gonna be talking about it tomorrow on 1st & 10! I just can't miss it.
So what do I do?? Remain a loyal Cowboy fan and watch "4th & Long" or do a check out my former favorite player and his "The T.O. Show"?? Quite a pickle I'm in here.
Okay, so here's the verdict: I've decided to watch the "4th & Long" finale. I NEED to see who makes the team out of Jesse Holley and Andrew Hawkins! We could use both and of them and I can't decide who I like better. I actually think they show take both and cut loose the always injured Isaiah Stanback. The winner gets Stanback's spot and the other gets the spot that was supposed to be reserved for the winner. Done and done. I'm almost certain that both of them right now are better for us than Stanback. The guy just can't stay on the field. Now watch they pull the rug out from under me and take one of the DBs lol.
Oh yeah and of course "The T.O. Show" is re-airing at 12am and 2am so I will undoubtedly see it before First Take starts at 10am tomorrow. Yay me!

Random News Shit: Dallas Cowboys Edition
1) Dallas Cowboy Idol??
From the mind of Michael Irvin comes a new American Idol inspired show about 12 doing competing for a chance to play for the Cowboys! I'd say about the last thing we need is another TV show, but that's if you're asking me. Then again, its just for a spot on the training camp roster so maybe it won't be so bad. Whatever the case this dude CAN'T make the team or that'll just be another media strik against us.
Anyway, if you're interested in this still untitled show its supposed to air on Spike in the spring.
2) Report: Romo say he'll be more active leader
I hope so because I mean it is his team and all. No more Mr. Nice Guy Tony, run the show. I do love his nonchalant attitude, but that shit is kinda toxic when it comes to professional sports....especially when you're a quarterback.
And of course this probably all stems from...
3) Aikman to Romo: Perception of you matters
In real life it doesn't, but as far as football and professional sports goes it definitely does. If he didn't know that he could've just asked Mr. Terrell Owens. Think about it: T.O. has never been arrested or been in trouble off the field, but let most people tell it, he's the worst thing that ever happened to the NFL lol. Anyway, Troy may have been just a tad late with this criticism. I think it would've served better after last season when the actual trip to Cabo happened.
