Random News Shit: Entertainment News Edition
Back in 2010, I never thought I'd say it, but I'm Jersey Shore'd out. I'm done.
I know MTV wants to capitalize on Snooki being pregnant, but give her her own show or something (one separate from the one with JWOWW). Nobody wants to see a pregnant Snooki living in the Jersey Shore house, going to the club, and working at the Shore Store like she isn't rich and famous now.
2) The Situation Checks Into Rehab
So The Situation was on a substance outside of steroids? I wonder what his drug of choice was?
Well whatever it was, this is just another reason Jersey Shore needs to end as presently constituted. Nobody wants to see the same old show with MTV trying to pretend like they all aren't super rich and famous.
3) Michael Bay Says He's Not Going To Sodomize The Ninja Turtles
First off, let me say that as a life-long Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles fan, I'm not thrilled about someone remaking the movie. Add that to the fact that they're going to change the story completely (How in the FUCK can the Teenage MUTANT Ninja Turtles being from an alien race?!?) and this whole thing just pisses me off.
Look, I fucks with Michael Bay. I love the "Bad Boys" movies and I've seen all of the "Transformers" movies in the theater, but this is just unacceptable. I hope the movie is excellent and they don't change the story, but if they do, then it's FUCK Michael Bay all the way.
4) Martin Lawrence Is Coming Back To The Small Screen
Apparently this has been floating around for awhile, but I just heard about it yesterday when HollywoodReporter reported P.J. Byrne of "Horrible Bosses" was joining the cast for the pilot episode.
I don't know how I feel about this. On one hand, it's good to hear Martin might be coming back to TV, but on the other hand, the actual show Martin is so classic and I know there's no way he's going to top it, or even come close, with this new show. I'm more confused than Young Buck on the phone with 50 Cent right now.
5) Aziz Ansari Releasing His Comedy Special Online
Following the footsteps of Louis C.K. and Jim Gaffigan, Aziz Ansari will also be putting out his new stand-up special on his website for download for $5 a pop. This is clearly the wave of the future, so HBO better get back on their shit before their hour specials become a thing of the past.
Anyway, go to AzizAnsari.com and check out Dangerously Delicious, it's available right now!

Jersey Shore Premiere Highest Rated Telecast In MTV History
If you hate "Jersey Shore," prepare to get angry because the season 3 premiere set a MTV record. That's right, with a whopping 8.45 million total viewers, America's favorite guidos had the most watched series telecast in the history of MTV.
To put that into perspective for you, as popular as the first 2 seasons of "Jersey Shore" were, the previous high was 6.723 million viewers (the episode when Angelina fought Snooki and went home).
I must admit, I thought this would be the last season for the guids, but if they can sustain those type of numbers, MTV will continue to back the Brinks truck up to all of their doorsteps to keep filming.

Jersey Shore Coming Back For A 2nd Season!
Visit msnbc.com for breaking news, world news, and news about the economy
Yes! This is easily the best news I've heard all day! I remember reading on TMZ the other week that they were in negotiations for another season, but wanted more money. I guess MTV finally came to their senses and decided to come correct with the loot. And really, why shouldn't they?? In that same article it state members of "The Hills" are getting upwards of $100,000 a episode and there's no question "Jersey Shore" is more popular. Pay them real nigga guidos what you owe MTV!I mean think about, not only was it the most watched show in MTV history, but they've made a huge imprint on all of our lives. Can anybody hear the word "situation" and not automatically think about The Situation?? I was watching "Spongebob" yesterday and Mr. Krabs told Spongebob, "we have a situation," and I couldn't help but laugh. And that's not it, I know I'm not the only 1 who says "bro" at the end of 70% of my sentence, or fist pumps whenever music comes on, bro. At this point we need "Jersey Shore," its apart of our lives!
Anyway, they didn't disclose how much each of them is gonna be making per show, but whatever it is, times that by 12 because that's how many new episodes we're getting! They're supposed to start filming this March and the episodes will air over the summer. There is also supposed to be a change of scenery for the guids. Cancun seems like a no-brainer, but I'm not sure they could all get passports lol. Whatever, it doesn't really matter where they are, if they're on TV, I'm watching!

(Side note: How impressed are you with the way Mike spoke in this interview?? He actually sounds like a pretty intelligent dude. Who knew??)

The REAL Situation + Jersey Shore: Super Mario Bros.
LMAO! I LOVE this video! "I fear my character, The Situation, is like a lone orphan boy, lost in the meadow and I know not how to guide him home." That line is CLASSIC!
Enjoy the Super Bros. after the jump!
Not as funny, but definitely worth a watch lol.
