Omarion - I Get It In (feat. Gucci Mane) Video

Didn't Chris Brown just release this video last week?? I'm just saying lol.

Anyway, while I continue to scratch my head at what Gucci Mane brings to the table musically, lets discuss dancing. Chris Brown is a better dancer than Omarion, right?? Wrong! I know its cool to not like Omarion, but the kid is a better dancer, hands down. Chris JUST started doing shit that Michael Jackson hadn't already done 20 years ago. O on the other hand has been killing it for years. Maybe its just me but Touch It video >>>> all Chris Brown videos combined.

Speaking of the Touch It video, I should go watch that shit, that Spanish chick was kinda fine.

Thursday Billboard Update - 11/5/09

This Is It
Michael Jackson returns to his rightful spot atop the Billboard 200 as the soundtrack to This Is It sells 373,800. No surprises there, its Mike. Some other shit debuted this week as well, but you won't care about them. Wanna know how I know that?? Because I don't care about them. You're welcome.

The top of the Hot 100 remains influx as we get yet another new #1. Jason Rulo grabs his first #1 with Whatcha Say (2-1), knocking last week's #1, Owl City's Fireflies down to #2. Returning to the top 10 is Jay-Z's Empire State of Mind at #3. The track saw a major boost in sales after Hov and Alicia Keys' performance at the new Yankees Stadium before game 2 of the World Series last week. Hot also saw this week's top 2 debuts land at numbers 9 and 10. Lady GaGa's Bad Romance takes over at #9 and Taylor Swift's Jump Then Fall is at #10.

The Billboard 200 1-10
first week debuts in bold

1. Michael Jackson - This Is It sdtk (1)
2. Creed - Full Circle (2)
3. Taylor Swift - Fearless (7-3)
4. Rod Stewart - Soulbook (4)
5. Trans-Siberian Orchestra - Night Castle (5)
6. Sting - If On A Winter's Night (6)
7. Michael Bublé - Crazy Love (3-7)
8. Various Artists - Twilight Saga: New Moon sdtk (1-8)
9. Tim McGraw - Southern Voice (2-9)
10. Jay-Z - Blueprint 3 (4-10)
  • Tech N9ne's K.O.D. is Hip-Hop's top debut at #14 with 29,900 sold.
  • I didn't even know Brian McKnight was dropping an album, but his Evolution Of A Man debuts at #20 with 24,400 sold.
  • Triple C's album Custom, Cars, & Cycles flops hard at #44 with just 12,100 sold. They probably should've just released it as a mixtape.
The Billboard Hot 100 1-10
first time top 10's in bold

1. Jason Rulo - Whatcha Say (2-1)
2. Owl City - Fireflies (1-2)

9. Lady GaGa - Bad Romance (9)
10. Taylor Swift - Jump Then Fall (10)
  • Debuting at #33 this week is 50 Cent's Baby By Me with Ne-Yo. That comes just in time because the 16th is right around the corner.
  • After jumping 30 spots last week, Birdman's Money To Blow featuring Drake and Lil Wayne jumps 12 spots 64-52.
  • R. Kelly's Number One with Keri Hilson jumps 10 spots 69-59.

  • LeToya Luckett's Regret featuring Ludacris jumps 13 spaces 91-78.
  • After all the buzz surrounding the video yesterday, I wouldn't be surprised if we saw a major leap next week, but as far as this week goes, Trey Songz I Invented Sex moves 11 spots 90-79.
  • Gucci Mane's awful first single Spotlight with Usher debuts at #93. Don't be surprised if it goes nowhere from here.
  • Omarion's Get It In with Gucci Mane debuts at #100, and probably won't be around next week.

Baby Making Season Approaches...

Thicke
Not all this will be baby making R&B, but I just felt like posting some new R&B so lets go!

What they know about my dude Thicke?! This shit is HOT! The beat was probably just a little too loud in this version, but I still love it anyway. Its just about pregnancy season so hopefully there's a full-length album coming to go with this track. I think I'm gonna have to go find my Evolution Of Robin Thicke CD to jam on the way to work today.

Damn I love these soul singers from the UK! Amy, Adele, Joss, Duffy, these girls are BAD! Young black girls trying to be R&B singers you are all on notice, step your game up! These UK chicks are bringing more soul to the table and we invented this shit.

Anyway, this song is stupid hot! How hot, you may be asking? So hot that I wouldn't even mind if Nas' verse was left off! Now that's hot!

The skycap concept was a bit of a stretch, but I love the vibe of this song. This might be a monster once it gets mixed down and everything. Timbo could've not said anything on the track, but I didn't mind it that much so its all good.

So there is still a real artist inside of R. Kelly somewhere. Hearing Kellz making a joint like this is refreshing because I was getting tired of him riding T-Pain and The-Dream's coattail like he wasn't that nigga in the R&B for a solid decade. Its not quite Chocolate Factory shit yet, but he's getting warmer. We really need him to get back in the studio and finish that song Baby Girl with Pharrell if he hasn't already!

Another song about Rihanna?? He only about 3 or 4 leaked songs into a comeback and half them shits either been about Rihanna or can be interpreted to be about Rihanna. I think he might be in the "Puff Daddy after he loss J. Lo" zone right now so maybe we should just prepare ourselves for more songs of this ilk.

Whatever, this nigga still has a terrible singing voice to me either.

Now I very well could've heard it wrong, but a little after 2 minutes in, did T-Pain say he was in booty dance contests in 1994 and the crowd cheered him on??

Here's the lyric:

"I wish, we could go, back to 1994! With the booty dance-offs, all on the boulevard. And they be like, 'Go T-Pain, do your G thang'..."

Again, I could be totally wrong, but that sounds like what he said to me lol.

Nigga this shit is terrible lol. Hoodies were hot in like were 2006-2007, its 2009 and damn near 2010! Its too soon to try to bring them back. Making this wack ass song ain't gonna help the cause either lol.

The Best of the Forgotten MuZik Pt. 3

Keri my baby
Okay, I'm gonna slow it down and go more R&B oriented in part 3. Enjoy.

At the end there when Keri was giving a description of the guy, did she say, "5'9", he's tall umm"?? I could've sworn that's what she said. I can look down on 5'9" niggas and I'm not tall at all lol.

Anyway, this feels like some of that early to mid 2000s R&B shit. You know, that shit underground radio used to play late at night. Don't act like y'all don't remember that shit! Very, very, very hot shit.

Shouts to Ryan Leslie on the track. Pretty decent Mary shit. I like this Mary better than auto-tuned Mary.

I used to have the biggest crush on Mya back in '97 when I was in 6th grade! That really has nothing to do with anything, but listening to this song is bringing those same feelings back. I'd still wife Mya right now I don't give a damn!

Anyway, Nicki Minaj is aware that she fucked up the track, right?? i definitely could've gone without hearing "Peggy and Al Bundy. Ballin' like Van Gundy. Alligator heels on, Crocodile Dundee." Shit was wack as fuck and it messed up the whole flow and feel of the song.

"Maybe its time to put this pussy on your sideburn." Uhhh, no. Its NEVER that time, sorry Nick lol.

Anyway, Drake won. Hands down, no questions about it.

That's right, the same song with a different title and a different singer on the hook. We all know Omarion got dropped so they had to put somebody on there.

So who's hook was better, Omarion's or Lloyd's?? I'm leaning heavily towards Omarion, what about you??

Drake, I Hope You're Taking Notes

Omarion a genius??
Okay, by now we all know Omarion has been either dropped or requested his release from Young Money Records after about 2 months on the job, depending on who's story you read. They say he leaked a record with himself and Wayne, but seriously that kinda hurts the people's argument who say he got dropped. Why would they drop someone over a leaked record?? Lil Wayne has AT LEAST 20-30 (and probably more) mixtapes out with all leaked material so even if O leaked the song, I doubt he'd drop him over it (but then again this is Lil Wayne's label we're talking about here so who knows).

Anyway, at the end of the day Omarion is no longer on Young Money and you know who that benefits the most?? That's right, Omarion! We all know Cash Money/Young Money don't release albums, its documented, so there's no question that O's project was already on the shelf indefinitely (if it was even there, that shit may have still been on the conveyor belt lol). If all he had to do was allegedly leak a mediocre to terrible song with Lil Wayne to get released then why doesn't everyone on the label with a shelved project (which is coincidentally everyone on the label) do the same??

By golly, Omarion may be on to something! Leaked record = a 2nd shot at a career?? Everybody, get the word out, stat!

Seriously though, if you're Freeway or Jae Millz and your career isn't really going anywhere and prospects of you dropping an album are looking slim, then why not give it a shot?? Wasting away your career under the Lil Wayne/Baby umbrella isn't exactly going to set you up financially in the long run, so why not?? Same thing goes for Drake, Nicki Minaj and the rest of them. Really it goes doubly for Drake because he still has a chance to become a megastar. Here's a suggestion the homie Tye offered yesterday on Facebook: "If I was Drake Ii would follow Omarion's lead and download Tha Carter 3 on LimeWire while filming it on YouTube." Again, why not?? At the least it gets you a little attention on the websites and blog, at the most it gets you off Cash Money or Young Money and give you another shot at actually releasing some music and making a living.

And if you haven't heard that mediocre to terrible Omarion and Wayne song this is all based on, check it out below:

There you have it in all its Wayne written glory. I would say Wayne didn't want this record out because its so bad, but we've heard him be proud to release much worse so that can't be it. I just don't see why anybody at Young Money would be upset about this song leaking because its not like it was the next big hit. That's way I don't believe it has anything to do with him being dropped/released.

MuZik!! (That Really Isn't Good Enough To Be On My Site)

Just giving the heads up now, all this shit is pretty wack lol.

Good news and bad news. The good news is that this is the wackest song of the bunch. The bad news is that its included in the bunch because "wack" really isn't a strong enough word to sum up what Gucci Mane does.

There's really no nice way to say this, but this song fuckin' sucks! Sounds like some shit you'd hear as a parody in a comedy. Some of it was off beat and shit too. I almost didn't bother waiting around for Kanye.

Better than the Kanye one but this may rival Turn My Swag On for least amount of lyrics in a song.

Just in case you thought Cam was becoming a decent rapper he drops this to let you know he's still his wack rapping self lol.

Not bad as far as Chris Brown songs go, but not good as far as good songs go lol.

Not terrible really, but it was pretty generic and boring so it fits into what I was going for with this post. If its any constellation this is the best of these terrible songs lol.

Dawn ALMOST escaped being put in this post, but the auto-tuned did her in. I was even gonna overlook the fact that she probably found this in the trash can of an old Danity Kane recording session.

Omarion Signs With Young Money, Declines "Grind Off" Challenge

There were rumors swirling yesterday that Omarion had signed with Lil Wayne's Young Money label, but you know me, I don't deal in rumors, I deal in facts. And now its a fact. And also now we know not to expect another album from Omarion because everyone knows nobody drops an album on Young Money or Cash Money besides Wayne. Oh, and for that reason above, Drake fans shouldn't get their hopes up too much for an album any time soon. Thank Me Later might be the new Nacirema Dream or Statlanta lol.

And on another note, O can't really talk about the Pretty Ricky nigga because lets not forget this picture of him with some dude behind him (peep the pic after the jump if you've never seen it).

I'm so glad this is over!

Was that believable?? Oh well I tried, but I just don't really care. I doubt most of the people he's saying does either and neither should Bow Wow I mean isn't he richer than everybody?? lol. [FULL STORY]

Raz-B Puts Out Chris Stokes For Making His Ass Hurt

Some of you might be wondering why I went so hard with the blogs today and this is why: I woke up this morning to hear that Chris Stokes had been molesting all those B2K niggas and Raz-B was talking about it so I wanted time to figure out how I was gonna post this shit, how much I was gonna write, whether I was gonna makes a joke out of it, and I wanted it to be the last thing I posted for the day. I guess you're gonna have to keep reading to see lol.

Honestly, I feel bad for all of the B2K and T.U.G. artist that got touched and also anybody that every has BUT I'm sorry this shit is fuckin' funny! Aww man I got a good laugh out of this shit here! I mean Chris Stokes being a pedophile isn't funny (more so gross), but the way these niggas went about spreading the news is fuckin' hilarious!

First of all, why did they think it'd be a good idea to expose Chris now?? I mean there's nothing really to be gained by putting him on blast publicly, is there?? Its not like Marques Houston or Omarion or moving big units and Chris is sitting back getting caked up like Matthew Knowles. So why do this?? And if you were gonna do it, why make the shit this funny?? Man, when Raz-B said, “I didn’t like it, my ass hurt,” how could ANYONE resist laughing at that shit??? LMAO!! This nigga said his ass hurt on camera! No no homo, pause, or nothing!

Then Raz's brother Ricky Romance (probably not the best time to go by that name lol) gets on camera arguing with Chris Stokes on the phone and Chris says, “That was years ago, I’m not like that anymore, I don’t do that…I just don’t do that in my life anymore.” LMAO!! Man this shit is too hilarious I'm sorry.

Another thing that was funny was that Raz said he was 11 or 12 and didn't know any better so he let him molest him. Maybe its just me, but when I was 11-12 I was in like 6th grade and actively pursuing any kind of PUSSY I could get at. Now, of course I didn't get any back then but I used to watch Real Sex, Howard Stern, and any movie that came on HBO that said it had nudity lol. I aint saying that's a good thing but what I'm trying to say is damn I was smart enough to know that a dude shouldn't be touching, rubbing, or inserting anything in me lol. C'mon now seriously lol. I could see if he was like 5 or 6, but 11 or 12?? I dunno whatever I wasn't there (thank goodness) so I dunno.

People always said Raz-B looked gay, but Chris Stokes always looked suspect as fuck...guess I was right lol. Welp this is officially the end of all their careers so I hope they are happy lol.

Here's the videos I was referring to if you haven't seen them for some reason:

This Week In Flops 12/11/07

Wassup y'all?? This cold finally seems to be going away so I'm back to work! Sorry I didn't make Tuesday, but its all good you guys love me anyway ;-).

Anyway, big day in music which equals an even bigger day in flops (who knows why people don't realize its not a good idea to drop your album on the same day as 32 other albums drop or drop in the weeks following a major release like Kanye West or Alicia Keys, but I guess that's just the story of our lives lol).

First up is Bow Wow and Omarion's Face Off. I heard the album was wack, but that's not really the point here lol. The real point is that it just wasn't a good idea in the first place. I like Omarion and Bow is straight but together? Not so much (I think that Designated Driver turned me off to the idea of this album lol). Well, whatever the case may be they're still gonna flop. If this came out in January or at least a week when a ton of other shit was droppin' I'd say it'd do like 250k first week BUT since that's not the case I'm guessing this album will be good for about 110-130k.
Next up is arguably the most annoying new artist to hit the scene, The-Dream, and his debut album Love/Hate. I mean besides the fact this dude looks like a lame and wrote some of the worst song of 2007...fuck it, no one is more annoying the Soulja Boy BTW is he still around?? Whatever lol. Shawty Is A Ten is wack and he's not gonna sell blah blah blah 50-60k.

The original Mr. Molester himself, Birdman, checks in next with his more than likely trash album 5*Stunna. For some reason he thinks a Blood now or whatever...who really cares, his album is gonna flop, 45-55k.

Beans is back! I got a review for this album coming soon so be on the look out for that. Until then go cop this album because its probably not doing much more than 25k.

Wow, where did this album come from?? I dunno what to say about it since I didn't it was coming out so I'm guessing it'll do about 25-40k.

We all love the Wu-Tang Clan, but lets just be honest for a minute: this project was going nowhere from the start. The fact that they are seemingly at odds with each other only adds fuel to the fire an probably isn't gonna help this album sell (them not having a single isn't helping either). This is really a lost cause, 30-40k.

This is last of course because its gonna flop like hell! I don't see this shit doing anything more than 10k. I guess that's all you can ask for from trash.

New Music From 50 Cent, T.I., Nelly, and More

50 Cent feat. Diddy & Jay-Z - I Get Money (Remix)

Dope remix, but I think the idea of the song was better than the actual song.

50 Cent - The Formula

Illseed said this might be on a new 50 mixtape called The Vitiman Water Mixtape...classic! This song is dope though, I wonder where this track was when it was time to put Curtis together??

50 Cent - Smile (I'm Leaving)

Yo this track is hot for real! this definitely should have made the album along with Part Time Lover, We On Some Shit, Southside, and the 2 tracks above.

Mos Def feat. Stephen Marley - Hey Baby

I love this song its extremely hot!

Swizz Beatz feat. Young Jeezy, Eve, and Elephant Man - Money In The Bank (Remix)

Jeezy actually ripped it the hardest, "I already got a son, but you can swallow my daughter.

Trey Songz feat. R. Kelly - Grub On

Now this is obviously neither Trey or Kellz but the funny thing about it is that this isn't too far fetched to think Kelly would do a song like this lol.

J-Hood - Who I'ma Sign 2

This song is about, but its funny he's talking like he's actually in control of his future lmao.

Bow Wow & Omarion - Hood Star

Other than this track being called Hood Star (which obviously neither are or were EVER) its actually pretty hot...kinda Jay & Kellz-esque...okay maybe not but its better than that Designated Driver bullshit lol.

Nelly feat. Pimp C & Sean P - Cut It Out

Nothing really new here and if this is really Nelly's new single he should go sit down and re-group.

Obie Trice feat. Saigon - Wanna Know (Remix)

Obie didn't come with it on this track but Saigon killed it as usual.

Bishop Lamont - Feel On It

Bis is ill! I really don't appreciate him rapping about his meat so much on this joint but the song is still hot.

Craig David - 1 Of 6 Things

Remember him?? Yeah he was dope back in like '01 but I see things have changed because I dunno what's going on with this track here lol.

T.I. feat. Young Jeezy - She Can Get It

This was pretty straight, but it sounds old like '02 Tip

J. Holiday feat. Busta Rhymes - Bed (Remix)

Busta shuts it down!

T.I. feat. Ciara - Goodbye My Dear

Pretty hot song, but its better suited for Ciara's album...them again I guess its not best suited for either since neither used it lol.

Lupe Fiasco - Superstar

This is a kool track, Lupe is ill.

T.I. feat. Plies - Rydin'

You "swear to muthafuckin' God"???? WOOOW Tip you're wylin' out! This track is lame mainly because of that but Plies actually stayed on beat or the most part lol. Tonya, get your boy lol.

50 Cent - Don't Wanna Talk About It

Nothing too special here.

Designated Driver??

What the fuck were these niggas Bow Wow and Omarion thinking when they made this dumbass song Designated Driver?? I mean I didn't have that high of hopes for their collabo album later this year, but this shit here is just bad! At first look, it seems to have a decent message, but when you hear the song they are actually talking about "helping" females who drink too much by driving them to their home and fucking them. Real inspirational lol. Well if you haven't heard this shit and are still interested in this schlock be my guest:
