I think this is best for all parties involved. Colts really don't need Marvin anymore with the way Reggie Wayne and Anthony Gonzalez are playing and Marvin doesn't need to take less money just because he got old. They all knew he'd get old eventually when he re-signed in 2004 so I don't know why they'd want him to make less. If that's the case, why even sign him to the big contract in the first place??
Anyway, its a sad end because I do like the Colts (2nd of course to my Cowboys) so you hate to see big pieces depart. No more "Manning to Harrison," that's just crazy! Hopefully lands on his feet. Now, all the Colts have to do is figure out what they're gonna have to do at RB because Joseph Addai ain't cutting it.

Colts Agree To Release Marvin Harrison
Earlier today Marvin Harrison asked to be released by the Colts after they asked him ti restructure his contract. Its probably best for all parties because 1) Harrison has CLEARLY lost at least 2 steps and 2) if I'm a NFL player I'm not restructuring shit because that team really doesn't care about me so why should I take less to help you out?? I get it. Now the question is where will he land?? ...Hopefully not in Dallas lol.
