Great news, "The Mis-Adventure of Awkward Black Girl" is not only coming back for season 2, but that shit is starting in just a little over 2 weeks from now on June 14th! I believe Justin Bieber would categorize this as "swaggy."
In other ABG news, the show is moving to Pharrell's new iamOTHER YouTube channel, so if you don't want to miss an episode, I'd suggest you go subscribe...well, unless you don't want to. That's cool too. No pressure...but it'd be nice.

The Game - Skate On (feat. Lupe Fiasco)
Hard body! How many dope tracks like this didn't make The R.E.D. Album?? I'm now totally amped for this new mixtape tomorrow.

T.I. - Here Ye, Hear Ye (feat. Pharrell)
Fucking nice! And you know what? T.I. didn't totally murder Pharrell either, P held his own. Regardless, this shit is dope.
Anyway, check out the 2 album titles Tip is kicking around for the new album (that hopefully he'll be free when it's released):
"The first of two album titles I'm debating is Kill the King because in all that I've gone through I've observed how people respond to my circumstances, and I always wonder 'Why y'all coming at me like this?' But I thought, 'How do you expect them to act?'" he explains. "Life is a game of chess and the object is to kill the king. If you anoint yourself king, you have made yourself a target. The second one is self-explanatory – Trouble." via RollingStone.com
I say just go with Kill The King.
Here's the official artwork for Here Ye, Here Ye. Apparently Pharrell has changed his name to Sk8brd, but like Mos Def and The Game before him, he will always be known as Pharrell on FiyahMuZik.com.

Swizz Beatz - BANG BANG (feat. Pusha T & Pharrell)
Where the fuck is Malice?? Did he get saved or something?? I mean, I almost thought Pusha was the better rapper, but damn, it's like this nigga or dropped off the face of the earth.
As far as thing song goes, it's good, but the hook gets annoying as fuck. Also, I have this weird feeling Lloyd Banks was supposed to be on this track. Don't worry if you don't get it, it's just an odd feeling I have.

Child Rebel Soldier - Don't Stop!
Incredible music! We can't even get Lupe's next album in stores, so I know it's a stretch, but we NEED to hear a full-length CRS album. I don't even have anything else to say, that just needs to happen. Again, emphasis on NEED.

N*E*R*D - Hypnotize U
The first time I heard this song it felt like it was playing for 30 minutes at least. It just kept going, and going, and going saying the same shit over, and over again. Thank goodness the 2nd and 3rd times were better and I actually kinda like it. I probably won't be reaching for it much after today, but I don't hate it.

The Game - It Must Be Me (Prod. by The Neptunes)
This is the first thing I've heard from The R.E.D. Album even worth listening to (which I'm sure had more to do with it being pushed back than any excuse Game or Interscope tossed out there). The hook is pretty dry and lackluster, but I could see it growing on me eventually. Other than that, its heat.
Hopefully this is a sign of things to come and he threw Krazy and Big Money into the Recycle Bin.

Tuesday Morning MuZik!
I'm glad they decided to keep the same beat as the original version because the track is straight fiyah! Everybody did their thing on their verse so I definitely fucks with this! This is South Florida cruising music and I love it.
Til The Casket Drops was actually scheduled to drop yesterday, but obviously that never happened.
If you haven't heard, Saigon's mother actually passed away yesterday. Its always tough to lose a love one, but parents especially. I have a few friends that lost theirs and I know its got to be a crazy feeling. Condolences to him and his family.
I remember this shit! It was on either NBA Live 08 or 09! Anyway, what did Wayne really contribute to the track?? He was just in the background making unnecessary auto-tuned chants. I didn't get that, but the original song is hot!
This was on a mixtape at some point, but its tag free now and its actually a good ass song. Its not that classy, but I fucks with it. I'm ready for some new Cass shit!
Speaking of mixtape tracks that are now tagless, here's the good version of that Jim Jones track I said I liked last week. This shit makes me wanna smoke weed and throw middle fingers up at random people in slow motion lol.
I wouldn't be that surprised if we heard a completed version of this on Thank Me Later (maybe as track 1 or 2??). I'm just sayin'.
This was aight, really nothing special.

Wale - Inhibitions (feat. Pharrell)
Umm, not sure why Wale decided to use this flow, but it doesn't work. Everything else in the song, besides that is his flow, is dope though. I like the beat, the hook, the concept, everything. Pharrell should've considered giving this to someone else because this was a homerun and Wale whiffed on it. Don't get me wrong though, his verses weren't wack, I just didn't like the way he spit them. Still a good song either way.
This actually isn't gonna be on the album, but it probably should be. I mean not only is Rihanna on it, but RIHANNA IS ON IT! Better pimp that shit like Jay did with Run This Town lol.

Nelly - Let It Go (Lil Mama) (feat. Pharrell)
No need to beat around the bush, this is not gonna work. Not in 2009. Its too slow, hoes can't really dance to it, and Nelly is not hot anymore (maybe he should sign to Cash Money now lol). This would only work if it was 2002 and Nelly was the hottest thing in the world still. That time is long gone and maybe he should do what his song suggests and Let It Go.

Clipse - I'm Good Video
I love this song!
Til The Casket Drops is still on schedule for a October 20th release, but we'll see if that date stands.

Usher - Certified (feat. Pharrell) (Prod. By Neptunes)
Pretty decent song. Kinda boring on first listen, but there's definitely something about it that tells me if I heard it enough times I'd start to like it. I don't know what it is, its just something. Hard to explain.
And I'm guessing this track isn't done because I heard no Pharrell unless he was singing very lightly behind Usher on the hook. I mean that could be him on the hook, but I'm not convinced.

Clipse - Eyes On Me/I'm Good
Did they seriously pay Keri Hilson to do that little bitty 15 seconds of singing?? I hope not. Matter of fact, I pray not. This shit is definitely jammin' though and really didn't need that little blip on the radar (though it did sound good too). I'm liking what I'm hearing from the Clipse!
Yeah I know, this track has been out for a week or so now BUT I never posted it so I'm trying to make up for that now. Forgiven?? I hope so but either way this shit is hot so it really doesn't matter.
On another note, this sounds so familiar! I think I heard Jeezy or somebody else spit over this beat or something very similar. I know I'm not going crazy but I'm too lazy to research it right now lol.

Pharrell Gets His Tats Removed
“Laser treatment bitches! Extra crispy.” See, no skin graft here, just pure laser pain. This is our own version of Mythbusters! Laser is the new primer.
The part about skin graft is a reference to him saying he wanted to get it to cover up his tattoos. Good for P. I can think of a few basketball players with pointless tattoos that should be referred to his doctor (one player specifically).

MuZik Pt. 1
You know what?? This actually isn't bad. The beat is dope and the lyrics aren't as horrendous as you'd expect. Interesting development lol.
Bobby went in on this shit and I honestly regret not listening to it sooner.
Why do I love this beat?? It isn't that hot, but I fuckin' love it. Weird. Oh well,. Bun does his thing on it, reppin' to Texas as you would expect.
I remember when niggas used to put samples like this on their hooks. Ahh, the good ol days lol.
Still don't know what the fuck Game was thinking.
Not as good as their other work, but they get a pass because they've dropped nothing but heat since they formed.
This is pretty darn hot. Good flow, tight beat. I fucks with this.
What... the... fuck?!? First off, where did Rhymefest find Crucial Conflict?? I ain't heard that name since like 1996 lol. This shit is just wackery, straight up.

Lil Wayne Feat. Pharrell - Yes
Lil Wayne Feat. Pharrell - Yes
Y'all know I give credit where credit is due and I must say I fuck with this shit. I don't even know what it is about the record, its just jammin' lol.

Common Feat. Pharrell - Announcement Video
I thought U.M.C. was gonna be the first single?? Oh well here's Common's latest video with Pharrell.
This definitely gets the stamp of approval! That philosophy line at the end of Com's 2nd verse is still kinda corny, but I love this video and it needs to be in the runnings to win something lol.
Invincible Summer is supposed to be dropping September 22, but we'll see about that.
