This video wouldn't be nearly as bad or as badly received if the song didn't suck so much dick. Most of Nicki's video are weird, but the songs ranged from decent to good, Stupid Hoe is just fuckin' awful.
I did appreciate all the periodic ass shots and booty shaking though. Unfortunately, she would've had to go full Twerk Team to save the video from this putrid song.

Lil Kim – Black Friday (Nicki Minaj Diss)
Well first and foremost, I'm hoping for Nicki Minaj's rebuttal to Lil Kim's recent mega nip slip from above. I think it'd be only right if Nicki replied with her own. Fair is fair.
As far as the song Black Friday is concerned, I thought it was pretty good. Sure the Pharoahe Monch Simon Says beat probably wasn't the best choice, and sure the diss ran about a minute too long, and of course Lil Kim didn't write, but other than that, I thought it was good.
Unlike everybody else, I'm not mad at Kim for going at Nicki with a diss record because Nicki is the one who took it to wax on Roman's Revenge. However, I am mad at Kim for even entertaining this BS in the first place. People kept talking all this rah-rah shit about Nicki biting Lil Kim's style, then Lil Kim comments on it and all of a sudden everybody is on some "Kim's old ass need to stop hatin' on Nicki" shit. But that's just like bum ass Hip-Hop fans though, push somebody into the ring and then switch on them when they start swinging. I say let's just call a truce because in 10-15 years when Nicki is in the same situation Kim is in and is pushed into the ring against the next new bitch, they can roll a blunt together and laugh, laugh, laugh.

Nicki Minaj - Roman's Revenge (feat. Eminem) (Prod. by Swizz Beatz)
I heard a lot of complaining about this record, but I don't see the problem. The Swizzy beat was good enough, Eminem murdered it, and Nicki was Nicki. Of course Eminem killed her on her on track, why is this a surprise to anyone?? Em didn't even have to try hard to best her, because of outside of her bars aimed at Lil Kim, Nick was just blabbing on with her usual foolishness like "I'm a bad bitch, I'm a cunt. And I'll kick that ho, punt. Forced trauma, blunt."
I don't know, maybe I'm tripping, but I thought it was a good, useful record for her album. Now, I can't in good conscious buy an album called "Pink Friday," but I'm sure plenty others will.

I haven't spoken on the whole Lil Kim/Nicki Minaj situation because I honestly don't care enough about it, BUT I do care about whatever Jadakiss says because he's so hilarious to me lol. This video isn't overtly funny or anything, but I just like hearing Jada's opinion on things.
(Side note: How awesome of a show would "Jada's Opinion On Things" be?? It could have Kiss speaking on Hip-Hop issues as well as global issues, like the BP oil crisis in the Gulf. I can't think of one other rapper I'd rather listen to speaking on random shit than Jadakiss. Not one. I'd tune in to hear what he says, as well as how he says it, every gotdamn week! That's something to think about MTV and BET. You're welcome.)

The R. Kelly Syndrome
After hearing the song above, some of you might have already guessed what R. Kelly Syndrome is, but if you haven't, don't feel bad, that's why I'm here.
R. Kelly Syndrome (or RKS) is when an older artist is so desperate to stay relevant they start following the trends/styles of newer artists, who followed them coming up, instead of being creative on their own. This syndrome derives from when R. Kelly, one of the greatest and most decorated R&B singers of all-time, started riding the coattail of T-Pain and began using auto-tune. The sound was around for the entire 1990s, in which Kelly dominated, but he didn't see fit to use it until T-Pain re-popularized it? Nope, you can't get away with that on FiyahMuZik.com, what do I look like, the judge on your child pornography case? I hold people accountable for their musical actions, so Kellz gets to be the face of this syndrome.
Anyway, Lil Kim is now suffering from RKS because even though Nicki Minaj wants to be Lil Kim, Lil Kim now wants to be Nicki Minaj. You can hear it in her voice, her delivery, the lyrics, this record has Nicki Minaj written all over it.
Now, some of you may be thinking "Lil Kim doesn't write her own lyrics, its not her fault." I can see how some would think that, but at the end of the day, Kim has the final say on which songs and verses she wants to record (whether she wrote the lyrics or not), therefore she was a willing participant.
Its just all so sad, the Queen Bee has been reduced to a worker bee. I wonder who's next?

The other issue I had with this 20 was Hate It Or Love It all the way up at #43! Forty-fuckin'-three! Who else believe that is the 43rd greatest Hip-Hop song of all-time?? I know I probably couldn't find one person...hell, The Game probably doesn't believe that lol. This was a big record, but it wasn't THAT big. These niggas are insane! Again, I don't have a problem with this being on the list, but definitely not at 43. Maybe 90-somethin', along with Tha Block Is Hot, just not 43.

More Notoriously Bad Casting??
If you remember just 2 weeks ago today I made the original Notoriously Bad Casting post about Papa Doc playing 2Pac and Angela Bassett playing Big's mom in his biopic. You might also recall me joking that they'd get Jada Pickett to play Lil Kim, but I was way off and they got former 3LW member Naturi Naughton (you might remember her more for getting a piece of KFC original recipe thrown at her by the one with a lisp back in 2002 lol).
I actually don't think it was THAT bad of a casting job looks wise (before Kim turned into the chubby Asian woman you see above lol), but this chick does NOT have what it takes to play Lil Kim. Could you see her in the movie doing Kim's verses on Player's Anthem or Get Money??? And that's not even to mention anything from Hardcore lol. That shit wouldn't be believable at all, sorta like Kevin Federline as a rapper lol. I guess we'll have to wait and see, but this movie is looking more an more like a disaster the more they cast the characters.
On another Naturi note, I have loved this girl since 3LW's first song No More came out! While everybody was diggin' on the Spanish chick and overlooking the one with the gap and lisp, I was always checking for the sexy dark girl in the back. I was 14 at the time, of course, but I knew beauty. Basically, I said all that to say this: I have GOT to find a way to incorporate her into Somebody's Gonna Get Pregnant!
