Taylor Swift's Red remains at #1 for a 3rd straight week with another 196,200 copies sold. Ne-Yo's R.E.D. debuts at #4 with just 66,100 copies sold. Saigon - Hungry Video

I know it's just a music video, but I really didn't appreciate seeing buddy chopping up that meat with no glove on. I know he's not working at Subway, but it's just not a visual I needed as I had out to eat in a few minutes lol.

Anyway, fuck with that Warning Shots 3 because it's out and it's hard body!

Saigon - Preacher Video

Dope. As. Fuck! ...Well, everything besides the cartoons not having any legs. What was that all about? Maybe the preachers and politicians took all of Saigon's money and he couldn't afford the full animation? You never know.

One this I do know is that Saigon's new mixtape Warning Shots 3: One Foot In The Grave is on the way January 24th. The latest video from the project is after the jump.

After debuting at #5 2 weeks ago, Dr. Dre's I Need A Doctor feating Eminem and Skylar Green fell all the way down to #32 last week. Then he performed at the Grammys and now it flies 28 spots to #4. Madness. And the last Grammys based bump hits Justin Bieber's Never Say Never featuring Jaden Smith, which hopped 25-8. Maybe it was the leopard print tights Jaden wore during the performance?

Exhibits A-Z

Exhibit C
Did I say Say Ahh was the most freestyled over track besides I Wanna Rock?? Wrong! I forgot all about this crazy ass Exhibit C beat! This probably the best collective of freestyles so I don't even have to ell you to enjoy, I already know you will.

This last one by Bun B isn't techinically over the Exhibit C instrumental, but it was about to be before Bun speaks on how many niggas have already used it and switched it up. Its still a good freestyle regardless though.

Tuesday Morning MuZik!

I'm Good Remix

I'm glad they decided to keep the same beat as the original version because the track is straight fiyah! Everybody did their thing on their verse so I definitely fucks with this! This is South Florida cruising music and I love it.

Til The Casket Drops was actually scheduled to drop yesterday, but obviously that never happened.

If you haven't heard, Saigon's mother actually passed away yesterday. Its always tough to lose a love one, but parents especially. I have a few friends that lost theirs and I know its got to be a crazy feeling. Condolences to him and his family.

I remember this shit! It was on either NBA Live 08 or 09! Anyway, what did Wayne really contribute to the track?? He was just in the background making unnecessary auto-tuned chants. I didn't get that, but the original song is hot!

This was on a mixtape at some point, but its tag free now and its actually a good ass song. Its not that classy, but I fucks with it. I'm ready for some new Cass shit!

Speaking of mixtape tracks that are now tagless, here's the good version of that Jim Jones track I said I liked last week. This shit makes me wanna smoke weed and throw middle fingers up at random people in slow motion lol.

I wouldn't be that surprised if we heard a completed version of this on Thank Me Later (maybe as track 1 or 2??). I'm just sayin'.

This was aight, really nothing special.

The Best of the Forgotten MuZik Pt. 2

Teddy

See, I told y'all I'd eventually get around to posting this song lol.

Anyway, what are the chances that T-Pain recorded this shit right after D.O.A. came out and caught feelings on purpose?? I'm not saying that's what happened, but you can't rule it out. Nice way to own a beat though Pain, I almost forget this was Successful and not some of his own shit lol.

So Shawnna is on Nappy Boy now?? Does that mean her and Ludacris aren't going to finish Battle Of The Sexes??

Speaking of Luda, how sure are we that he didn't write this song?? I say either he wrote ghostwrote it or both Pain and Shawnna were jammin' Word Of Mouf before the recorded this because its vintage Ludacris.

I still gotta stop fucking around make time to listen to Only Built 4 Cuban Linx II! This ain't on there, but its still pretty decent. I don't know if I like the beat that much because it kinda make Rae sound like he's spitting off beat when he's not. That break down 2 minutes in was dope though.

There's another Saigon track called Martian Alien Flow that was so wack I almost didn't listen to this track. I'm glad I decided to fuck with this Shout Outs though, its nice.

Why does it feel like I heard this track before?? Not so much SP and Uncle Murda, but the N.O.R.E. verse and the beat sound familiar as hell. Oh well.

This is off SP and Green Lantern's Green Ghost which should be dropping soon.

I could've gone without that hook, but the SP and Jada verses were hot. This should also be on Green Ghost.

Damn this song smooth ass shit right here! Buck got me about to light up some weed and drive to nowhere with this shit on repeat! Extremely sick.

I could've done without that intro, but the actual song is hot. Ace rips it and reps Broward big time so I gotta co-sign this, no question.

Saigon - Gotta Believe It (feat. Just Blaze) Video

Not feeling. Wasn't feeling it when the mp3 dropped, still not now that the video is out. Its one of those boring half-assed motivational records that took a turn for the wack when they decided to throw some T-Pain on that shit. Boring + Wack = Try again.

Muzik!! Saigon, Killer Mike, Asher, & More!

Saigon - So Cruel

I heard Sai recorded an album in 24 hours. Maybe this is from that shit, who knows?? I don't at least lol.

Bang 'Em Smurf - Untitled (50 Cent Diss)

Such a classic beat. I couldn't tell you what he said, but I might go listen to Reasonable Doubt.

Killer Mike - Hoes (feat. C-Bone & Slimm Calhoun)

C-Bone and Slimm Calhoun?? Wow! I ain't heard them names since like '98! Damn! Good track though. You know, Slimm sounds a lot like B.o.B?? Well I guess its the other way around, but they sound alike.

Slim Thug - Lost

Boss Of All Bosses in stores March 24th.

Asher Roth - Funkmaster Flex Freestyle

Album April 21st!

Cory Gunz - One

Good until the last verse. I don't know what that was all about lol.

Wiz Khalifa - Boarding Pass

Not bad at all.

Mos Def - Brooklyn (Go Hard)

What's up with Mos?? Its about time for a new record.

KiD CuDi - Switchin' Lanes

Yo, this nigga is truly terrible. I'm gonna stop downloading his shit because I haven't like anything since Day N Nite. SMH.

Idiocracy 101: Saigon On Amalgam Digital??

Rumors had been swirling about Saigon signing with Amalgam Digital, but Sai has come out to refute such reports. Monday on his MySpace blog he said he didn't sign a traditional record with Amalgam but rather was, "entering a unique, never been done before business venture where they help market promote and distribute some of my many projects." AKA a traditional record deal lol. So basically he clowned Joey for being on Amalgam and then goes back and signs with them himself. Niggas.

The full blog entry is after the jump.

Okay okay okay.... Im sure by now you all heard rumors about me signing to Amalgam Digital and now youre gonna hear whats real from the horses mouth.... Did I sign a traditional recording deal with Amalgam Digital as an artist? The answer is NO.. At this stage of my life/career, I'm waaaay too smart and business savvy to enter a typical record deal with ANYONE. What I AM doing with Amalgam Digital is entering a unique, never been done before business venture where they help market promote and distribute some of my many projects.

First of all, Amalgam Digital is NOT a record company but a New Media outfit.. With the sales of CD's rapidly declining, their NEW business motto was perfect for what Ive been trying to do and makes perfect sense with us moving into this totally digital era... They seen my creative vision, believe in my vision and we entered into a non-exclusive partnership that will bring it all to life....I am nobody's artist. I am a businessman doing some very lucrative, serious business with a VERY credible New Media company who like myself is trying to stay ahead of the curve...So, there you have it so STOP sending me messages..PLEASE.

Now that thats clear, please look out for the first project through this venture called 'All in A Days Work' which will be released March 17th DIGITAL ONLY..... Its one of the best Hip Hop album's in a while and was recorded in a 24hr period. It was also produced solely by Statik Selektah who came through correct. That will be followed shortly by the sequel to my classic disc 'Warning Shots' with' Warning Shots 2'... From this point on, I will be releasing music in a very timely fashion without having to deal with the politricks of a clueless traditional record label.. The future is here ladies and gentlemen.... Get with it.......March 17th... 'All In a Days Work'.....

MARCH 17th..... HIP HOP has been saved.

Saigon - The Rules/Spit

Two new Saigon tracks...

Saigon - The Rules

I definitely fuck with this shit! I love the Busta sample on the hook too...not sure wassup with the Soulja Boy snippet on there, but it doesn't ruin anything so its fine. Flow and beat are also sick so I co-sign this.

Saigon - Spit

This is so perfect because this sounds EXACTLY like a song used expect to hear on the Hip-Hop station in one of the GTA games lol.

Joe Budden Says Beef With Saigon Is Over

Okay then. Saigon said he's not making anymore diss records and Joey says the beef is dead, now the question is after 2 rounds who won: Joey and his 2 pretty good diss record or Saigon and his 1 dud and 1 exceptional diss records?? I don't even know so I'm calling it a draw until they man up and do a 3rd round since the real battle didn't even start until round 2.

On another note, is Tru Life really coming back?? That nigga has been M.I.A. for a few years now and I believe Roc La Familia is muerto lol.
