Look at 'Shard, he actually has some flow! BAWSE says its because he's from Houston, but I say its because he moved to Florida. Follow me on this, he spit in a low voice which means one thing to me: He just started rapping! That means he learned in Florida where he's played the last few seasons. I win. Done and done!
Speaking of Rashard Lewis and the city of Houston, this whole arguments makes me think of how dumb the Rockets are. In the 1998 Draft they had THREE chances to take 'Shard, but opted for Michael Dickerson (LOL), Bryce Drew (LMAO), and Mirsad TĂ¼rkcan (Who??)! Here's the rationale of their GM at the time: "Anytime you can pick 3 guys who won't be in the league 10 years from now over a hometown kid, you've got to do it." Yeah, hindsight is 20/20, but come on, Mirsad TĂ¼rkcan?? Only the Clippers failed harder in that draft lol.
Anyway, to bring it back to sports and comedy, go read Bill Simmons' Athlete Funny Scale and figure out where this video ranks. I say 5.0.

LeBron Puppet Lives To Annoy Another Day
LeBron needed all of his 37, 14, and 12 to take this game (Note to LeBron: You score 40 you lose, you score 30 you win, recognize that). Though 'Bron completely took over in the 4th quarter, Mo Williams finally showed he was still alive by hitting six 3's and racking up 24 points. Daniel Gibson's 11 off the bench was key also (and to think the alleged "Coach of the Year" didn't even have him in the rotation 2 games ago). We'll see if they can show up again Saturday and force a game 7. I know they can do it, the question is just will they?
On another note, did you see all the stars out at the game tonight?? Shit looked like L.A. with all the big names in the Q. Jay-Z, Ben Roethlisberger, A-Rod, CC, Brady Quinn, they were all in the building.
Last thing I wanted to say was this: Note to white people, jerseys aren't meant to be worn with button-ups and polo shirts. I saw so many white people just straight violating at the game tonight lol.

Hedo Left One Second Too Many
I'll be honest with you, when I saw Mo Williams was inbounding the ball I automatically had a flash back to the Trevor Ariza steal from Game 1 of the Lakers/Nuggets series. But it all worked out and instead of going down 0-2 heading to Orlando this Sunday, they even up the series 1-1. Makes you wonder what would've happened had he not passed the shot up in Game 1? Oh well.
Anyway, I'm glad the Magic lost because I now fuckin' hate Hedo Turkoglu. I play ESPN's Streak For The Cash and tonights 8:30pm bet was "More Points: Hedo vs. Mo Williams." I did a bunch of research and number crunching and finally decided to go with Mo despite Hedo averaging more points in the playoffs because I figured Mo would have a huge bounce back game after Wednesday's dud (not to mention even with that dud in the first game he still outscored Hedo 17-15). Wrong! He started out strong scoring 9 to Hedo's 0 in the first quarter, but after that he went ice cold. In the 2nd half, not only did Hedo catch him, but he even passed him at one point before that last shot.
Mo hits a runner in the lane with about 1 or 2 minutes left to take a 19-17 lead. Hedo comes down and hits a shot to match him at 19. Just when I thought the bet would end up being a push, the Magic get the ball to Hedo with 13.7 left for the last shot. He nails it leaving just one sec to take a 21-19 lead and break my streak. I felt dead. Matter of fact, I am dead. Bye.

Cavs Clinch NBA's Best Record
With a 117-109 win over the Pacers last night, LeBron, Mo, and the Cavs have secured themselves homecourt throughout the 2009 NBA playoffs. I think its safe to say we'll see the Cavs in the NBA Finals come June. There's no way the Celtics are gonna be able to beat them and the only team that matches up with them well (the Orlando Magic) aren't really locks to make it past the first round. They'll most likely play the Lakers when they get to the Finals, UNLESS the L.A. runs into Portland. I'm not positive they can handle the Blazers because they've shown they couldn't all year long.

Random News Shit: NBA Edition
1) Mo Williams replaces Chris Bosh for East All-Stars
Okay, finally that put this in on the roster so we can stop hearing the Cavs bitching about how their 17 PPG, 4 APG player deserved to be an All-Star.
2) Kevin Durant, O.J. Mayo, and Joe Johnson to compete in All-Star H-O-R-S-E
I could've sworn they changed it to G-E-I-C-O but whatever. They could've tried to get more star power involved but again, whatever.
3) LeBron Finally Passes D-Wade As Top Scorer
After Tuesday night's 47 point splash down, LeBron is now the leading scorer in the league at 28.6 PPG. Dwyane Wade, who had lead the league for majority of the season, now averages 28.4 after hitting 33 last night against Denver.

1) Jameer Nelson Out Indefinitely With Torn Labrum
You gotta be pissed off right now if you're a Magic fan. Plus, I doubt Dwight Howard is gonna drop 60+ for his guy to let the fans know everything is gonna be alright lol.
2) With Nelson injured, door opens for All-Star replacement
Okay obviously Jameer is gonna be participating in his first All-Star team this year so he needs to be replaced by someone. The 3 names that popped up immediately were Ray Allen, Rajon Rondo, and Mo Williams. I think Ray Allen has the best case for the spot because 1) he was an All-Star injury replacement each of the last 2 years and 2) his 18 a game, 3 assists, and 41% from 3 is a bit better than Mo's 17 and 4, and Rondo's 11 & 8.
(Side note: If Jesus Shuttlesworth makes it, maybe the coaches should consider voting him on the roster in the first place in 2010 so they don't have to worry about losing a key player that made the All-Star team to injury to make room for him.)
3) TNT to air H-O-R-S-E game featuring NBA players
This is supposed to be on Saturday so who knows if it'll really get any good TV time, but it might be interesting to see. Of course I don't get off until 6 on Saturdays so I'll miss most of it since it'll be on during Inside The NBA from 5-7 lol.
