Oh, Ginelle, let us stop beating around the bush and acting like this song wasn't written specifically for me (So what if the lyrics are written from a girl's point of view, all true narcissists know the only part of a song that truly matters is the part that possibly mentions them). We can pretend like you were in this video wandering around Fort Lauderdale looking for your concert, but we all know you were looking for me so you could hand deliver my new theme music. It was a kind gesture indeed, so I guess what I'm trying to say is, thank you.
(Side note: Seriously, why wasn't I in this video? I could've been Looking Down At My Cell Phone While Walking Guy. I could've been Holding My Lady's Hand While Hoping She Doesn't Leave Me Because I Have No Transportation Guy. Hell, I even could've been Hand You Your Keytar Right Before You Hit The Stage Guy, and that guy didn't even exist in the video.
I don't know, I'm just so disappointed by the lack of me in the video for what is clearly my theme song. And to think, I was just getting over not being cast as Horny Dude With Cell Phone At Pump #1 Guy in the Tight Up Skirt video.)

OhGinelle - Searching/Tight Up Skirt Video
Let's just get right to it: this video is amazing! How many unsigned artists do you know have video of this quality out?? Not even the rappers with regular jobs who sell drugs and spend all their money to impress others have video this good. This shit is visually sound.
And with that being said, I'm gonna stop there to avoid saying anything overtly critical. I'll save my vitriol for loser rappers who have major label backing and big budgets that still make retarded decisions.

(Oh yeah, sorry in advance about having this on IMeen.com, but I don't have the mp3 so work with me here, its worth it.)
When I heard this song for the first time, the first thing that popped in my mind (well, besides what it'd be like to have a girlfriend that could sing and a few other dirty thoughts I'll keep to myself) was radio-ready. No, not radio-friendly (which it also is), but radio-ready. That basically means it could play on the radio right now and it would fit and not cause me to have a "What the fuck is this, oh yeah, this is why I don't listen to the radio" reaction upon hearing it, like most shit that makes it on air these days.
On top of that, its a record that SHOULD be on the radio. Seriously, I could hear it while driving to work, I could hear it while driving home, I could hear it while waiting in traffic because dumbasses wanna look at the wreck on the side of the road on I-95 instead of getting to their destination, I could hear it while waiting in the drive-thru at Burger King on Wednesdays (gotta love those 2 for $3 Whoppers), I could hear when my date's phone rings before she picks it up and holds a 10 minute conversation like I'm not even there. Its just a good ass song by a seemingly good ass artist so I'm giving it my good ass stamp of approval. OhGinelle, consider yourself co-signed!
