Warriors Send Monta Ellis To Bucks

NFL players aren't the only ones on the move today as Golden State has agreed in principle to send Monta Ellis, Ekpe Udoh, and Kwame Brown to Milwaukee in exchange for Andrew Bogut and Stephen Jackson.

Now, I get why Milwaukee would do this trade, but why in the hell would Golden State? The Bucks get one of the NBA's best scorers while the Warriors got Stephen Jackson (who hated Scott Skiles and who the Warriors traded away in 2009) and Andrew Bogut (who always seems to be injured). I don't know, I don't get it.

And what I really don't get is why Orlando didn't do this deal for Monta? I don't know if that would keep Dwight Howard in town, but it's a hell of a lot better than when they brought in Vince Carter and Gilbertt Arenas.

Monta Ellis To Return Tonight

After being suspended for the 1st 30 games of the season, Warriors' guard Monta Ellis will return to the 13-30 team's line-up tonight against the Cavs. I went off about this suspension before the season, but if he was suspended for 30 games, why is he coming back in game 44?? Did the nigga sprain his ankle or break his whole fuckin' foot?? It doesn't take 5 months to recover from an sprained ankle unless you're like 96. I've had a sprained ankle several times and it never took that long. Hell, in '07 T.O. had a high ankle sprain, which is worse than just a regular sprain, and came back in 3 weeks to play in that game against the Giants. What's really going on here?? Weird...

Real shit, he got suspended 30 games...yes, thirty games, without pay. How retarded is this shit?? I dunno what the fuck Warriors' president Robert Rowell was on when he made this decision, but obviously he had forgotten that they lost Baron Davis in free agency over the offseason. What a fuckin' idiot! Why would you shoot your own team in the foot over some dumb shit like this?? Yeah he was wrong for being on the moped and he was wrong again for lying about it, but 30 games?? 5 games, 10 at the absolute most, or a big fine, but don't hurt your team. I mean it was a long shot for them to make the playoffs this year in the crowded West but fuck! Have better judgement.
