I know Bow got it, but what a way for a new father to blow $1,000 lol. He didn't actually think he was gonna score that one point, right? Kobe is the most competitive player in the league since Jordan, Bow COULDN'T have thought he was gonna score that one basket. I imagine Kobe plays his little girls with the same intensity in the driveway every weekend. Dude just doesn't like to lose.
Anyway, more footage of Bow Wow and JD at Kobe's basketball camp after the jump.
Damn, that's all you gotta do to become an intern at So So Def? I don't make music, so maybe I should try to be an intern there? Not sure exactly what I'd be doing there seeing they have zero up coming projects, but it'd be cool to hang with JD and soak up game.
(Side note: It is fucking GREAT to hear Kobe shit talking everyone.)

I'm Jealous! JD Already Has Madden 10!
I need to get famous so I can get shit early too!
Anyway, I've been on that Madden 10 demo like crazy over the past few days. I've really just been trying to see how many points I can score in those shitty 1 minute quarters they give. My high is 45 and no, you can't beat it lol.

Bow Wow Feat. Johnta Austin - You Can Get It All (Prod. By JD)
Bow Wow Feat. Johnta Austin - You Can Get It All
If Bow really wants to get respect and take it to the next level he's gonna have to shake this 'I'ma copy whatever is hot' thing because this was clearly made with T.I.'s Whatever You Life in mind. I mean its a decent track and the young hoes will eat it up, but you gotta do your own thing Bow.
Bow Wow - Crooked Freestyle
LMAO!! Bow Wow, we know who you are and its not a street nigga so please stop. This nigga said his man got 20 months lol.
Bow Wow - Get It In Freestyle
Aight I can fuck with this one.

JD Getting At Island Def Jam
JD's is getting back at Island for letting him go:
"Island [Def Jam Records] is going to say what makes them look good. They are not going to tell the truth and say, “He just stopped dealing with us on a daily basis.” If you don’t put out my records, that’s all I have as a person. I’m a record person, so if I give you a record and you don’t put it out, then basically you’re showing me that it’s really no business. I never got a chance to put the records out. I had Johnta Austin, Ninth Ward and Dondria. I read the blogs and I’m thinking, How can they say that I’m not putting out records when anyone who knows my track record knows I’m about making music? My biggest problem is that I’m still the youngest president to have this kind of success. Music is my life. I’m a person who continues to carve out my own way. Instead of watching things happen, I make them happen. If L.A. [Reid] gets fired at Def Jam (he’s 20 years older than me) where is he going to go? Many of the people at the label; if their bosses were to fire them today, they don’t have anything else to do. Their lives are over. I’m not that dude. Life ain’t over for me."
Ninth Ward and Dondria?? No wonder Def Jam ain't take him records seriously lol.

Jermaine Dupri Out As Head Of Island Records Urban Division
Damn, life sucks for JD. Besides the money, cars, and real estate, this nigga aint got shit! Poor little man. (Can anyone feel my pain and envy?? lol.) Anyway, yeah it looks like JD is out so that's terrible news for all those niggas he signed over there like Q Da Kid, Duffy, and that YouTube chick. Remember what happened to J-Kwon, Bonecrusher and the rest of those niggas on SoSoDef when he switched labels last time?? He even lost Bow Wow in that lil mix up thing. Oh well, sucks for them niggas.

Bow Wow Feat. JD - Roc The Mic Video
I can't even front on Bow on this, its actually pretty hot. The hook is hella corny, but the beat is fire and the lyrics and flow of track are nice. Not sure why Bow is talking about niggas who "barely go gold" in the 2nd verse though because he is definitely at that point in his career lol.
Anyway, not sure how the mainstream will respond to this joint, but for the record, I like it.

Electability: The End of The Hustle
Here's the newest video from The Real and I'm posting it FIRST! Its a good one so it'll be all over the net soon so it really doesn't matter lol.
LMAO! Damn, these niggas tried the FUCK out of JD lol.

The Executive Is Dead
All this talk about death! Hmm, I wonder who's next?? Bloggers maybe?? Welp not a concern of mine because I ain't a blogger, I'm just a nigga with a website (damn I need to put that in my banner lol). Anyway, Kay Slay throws his hat in the ring on this JD/Greg Street "DJ is dead" shit:
Damn, JD kinda caught a bad one with this one. Come to think of it, I think Kay Slay has a better point than either JD or Greg Street because executives are dead! Hip-Hop going corporate expanded the brand, but it also watered it down and basically ruined it. Sad.

Greg Street Ain't Done With JD
For 2 people who love each other like brothers, y'all sure are going hard (no homo).
**UPDATE**
Here's the JD interview Greg Street was talking about above (I know the vid is long, but the part I'm talking about is at the beginning and you can skip the rest):
Can't front on JD about those 2 projects so I'm gonna go ahead and shut my mouth now lol.

The DJ Is Not Dead Says Greg Street
I know you remember JD's assertion that the DJ was dead last week...welp Greg Street strikes back with vengeance!
Yeah I agreed with JD last week when he said the DJ was dead, but I can't front on Greg Street here because EVERYTHING he said about JD's career lately and SoSoDef and Janet all that shit was true lol. I still think the DJ is kinda dead because now anybody with a Mac and a microphone can claim they're a DJ too. Play chess!
Oh and speaking of changing the iconic Ms. Jackson into a "bust it baby" here's Plies talking about when he first found out she did his record. Now, you can rightfully place the place for it squarely on JD's back lol.

"The DJ Is Dead"
This JD video is the topic of much internet discussion and I'm sorry but I'm gonna have to agree with everything he said. I also agree with what Wayne said on Drama's show about not being a DJ if you come to the party and set up a laptop lol. Anyway, check out the vid.

JD Signs Phatfffat
Honestly I never heard of Phatfffat before I read this article on AHH, but apparently she's a YouTube sensation so JD is hoping to capitalize off of that success and turn it into dollar signs. Who knows why JD would wanna go down this "internet sensation" path again (remember he signed Jason Fox around this time last year?? Yeah, hows that going for ya JD?? lol), but hey maybe 2nd times a charm lol. Then again, its probably not a good sign if you're a YouTube star and I've never heard of you considering the amount of time I dedicate to YouTube.
Anyway, Phatfffat's real name is Dondria Nicole and she is a cutie! I do remember a few days ago seeing a video on JD's YouTube channel with that name in the title, but I never clicked on it because I never knew who it was, but I might check her out. I don't know whether she's gonna go by Dondria Nicole or Phatfffat, but I'm gonna call her the Dondria because the latter is kinda weak lol. Welp good luck this time JD, hopefully she's not as wack as Jason Fox was/is lol.
Oh yeah sorry for not having a pic, but all the pics on her MySpace were wack so hopefully JD helps her step her MySpace picture game up lol.

Nelly Feat. JD & Ciara - Steppin' On My J'z
After such a strong showing on Rap City last month I was looking for much more than this lol.
Nelly Feat. JD & Ciara - Steppin' On My J'z
This song is just wack, I'm sorry posted it, forgive me lol.
Who knows why Ciara is on here, but whatever that's my boo lol. Speaking of CiCi, her new album Fantasy Ride is supposed to be dropping in September so we shall see. What ever the cae I'm just looking forward to see more of her again.

JD Goes Off On Billboard...And Rightfully So
JD has a great point here:
Speaking of JD, what in the HELL is his barber cutting in this video?? He's still bald as far as I can see and he was too high up to be doing his beard so what in the hell was that nigga doing?? I want that man's job because cutting JD's hair is easy money lol.

JD Is Livin' The Life
I would've liked to hear more about what its like to crush Janet Jackson oppose to shit about his book and seeing Rocko and his cleft lip lol. Check the footage:
Damn, who was that white girl singing at that showcase?? I might have to do some research because that song sounded fiyah as hell. Yes, I do listen to much more than Hip-Hop lol. Anyway, who is that nigga with the big fuckin' head in that yellow tie?? Damn, homie's shit was on straight O.J. status lol.
*UPDATE*
I found out that that white girl in the video is a British singer signed to So So Def named Duffy. I saw the video for the song she was performing and honestly it sounded much better when she was performing it live, but I might still check for her anyway.

This Week In Flops 10/23/07
Whats good yall? Sorry I couldn't come this with The Week In Flops last week, but yall know how my internet situation was but anyway fuck that I'm back! Now, don't expect a big debut from anyone this week because if you are you'll undoubtedly be disappointed. The #1 album WILL be Carrie Underwood's Carnival Ride, but a lil further down the chart will be Chris Hurricane Chris' debut album 51/50 Ratchet. His label did him a TERRIBLE injustice by releasing his album about 2 months after his single A Bay Bay played out and his buzz is all but gone. Whatever the case, his album actually wasn't half bad, but that won't stop him from doing about 50-70k first week.
Even further down the chart will be JD's greatest hits album Y'all Know What This Is... The Hits which I'm guessing do about 15-25k with little to no promo.
Its all downhill from there because none of the rest of the Hip-Hop debuts will even sale over 10,000 including Little Brother's Get Back, Bizarre's Blue Cheese 'N' Choney Island, and Trae's Life Goes On. The good thing is that none of those albums are on majors so they'll be fine.
