Thursday Billboard Update - 6/10/10

Nothing of importance to us happened in the Billboard 200 this week so let's move along.

After her performance at the MTV Movie Awards Sunday, Katy Perry's California Gurls with Snoop jumps to #1. As I predicted last week's Travis McCoy's Billionaire with Bruno Mars leaps into the top 10 at #5. And yes, I will still continue to call him Travis.

• To go along with that, T.I.'s Yeah Ya Know from the "Takers" soundtrack debuts at #44.
• Nicki Minaj's uber annoying Your Love debuts at #51.
• After debuting at #98 last week, Ludacris' Sex Room jumps 13 spots to #85.

Thursday Billboard Update - 3/11/10

There's a new #1 this week, but its a familiar face as Lady Antebellum's Need You Now returns to the top of the ranks with 125,600 sold over the past week. Sade's Soldier Of Love is down to #2 with 79,200 sold. And debuting at #9 is Raheem DeVaughn's The Love & War MasterPeace with 45,200 sold.

Making a huge splash on the Hot 100 is Taio Cruz whose Break Your Heart record featuring Ludacris zooms from #53 to #1. I haven't even heard of the song, let alone heard it, but it better be damn good lol. The odd man out is Trey Songz's Say Aah which exits the top 10 after 2 weeks.

• Trey Songz's Neighbors Know My Name jumps 16 spots 88-72.
• Something that goes by "Three 6 Mafia Vs. Tiesto With Sean Kingston & Flo Rida" debuts a track named Feel It at #78.
