1) Iverson To Join The GrizzliesDamn, this is just so sad. Heart breaking even. Allen Iverson was still one of the baddest men in the land up until getting traded last season. People forget, but A.I. was averaging like 27 or 28 points a game back in 07-08. That was
that long ago. He was thrown into a lose/lose situation last season so I think he still has some juice left in him.
Of course the Grizzlies will still suck though so my condolences to the future Hall Of Famer's career in basketball. I hope that doesn't sound too mean, but I just wish he'd realize its better to be a role player on a championship caliber team than a starter on a loser like Memphis.
2) Jeter Ties Gehrig's Hits Mark
No need to much too big of a deal out of this. I mean its a great thing and all BUT no need to make a big deal out of the tie when he'll probably break it Friday when the Yanks play the Orioles.
3) Browns FINALLY Name Quinn Starter
Did we really need to wait this late for this announcement?? Who didn't know Mangini was gonna give Brady Quinn the nod?? And for Mangini to come out and say he wasn't gonna name a starter and give the Vikings and advantage was just retarded. He obviously hadn't watched much film on the Vikes' defense because no matter if its Quinn or Derek Anderson, neither will have a good game and the Browns will still lose.
4) Nets Unveil Brooklyn Arena Design
Looks nice. Very nice. Its no Cowboys Stadium, but its nice.
