Golden State Get "New" Logo & Jerseys
I very well could be wrong on this, but I'm going to venture to say no franchise in NBA/ABA history as had more jersey changes than the Warriors of Golden State. the Philly 76ers come to mind, but I don't think they've had 11 uniform changes under their belt. Again, I could be wrong.
You can check out pics of the Warriors jerseys through the years after the jump.

The "Kardashian Luck Theory" Needs An "I"
As of right now I have it as the "Kardashian Luck Theory" (or the KLT), but I'd like to add an "I" to that and make it the "KILT," as in those man-skirts dudes in Scotland wear. Help me out and pick an adjective beginning with "I" out of the 6 I pre-selected: intangible, incredible, indescribable, incomprehensible, illogical, and impeccable.
So hit me up in the comments, on Twitter, on Facebook, or via e-mail and let me know which you like best!
Text 101 to 501501 to select the "Kardashian Intangible Luck Theory"
Text 102 to 501501 to select the "Kardashian Incredible Luck Theory"
Text 103 to 501501 to select the "Kardashian Indescribable Luck Theory"
Text 104 to 501501 to select the "Kardashian Incomprehensible Luck Theory"
Text 105 to 501501 to select the "Kardashian Illogical Luck Theory"
Text 106 to 501501 to select the "Kardashian Impeccable Luck Theory"
All contributions are greatly appreciated lol.

Dan Gilbert's Open Letter To Zydrunas Ilgauskas
Dear Cleveland, All Of Northeast Ohio and Cleveland Cavaliers Supporters Who Have Not Killed Themselves As Of Yet;
As you now know, our former former hero, who was drafted here with the 20th pick in the 1996 NBA Draft, is no longer a Cleveland Cavalier.
This was announced with a one day, narcissistic-ish, mostly under the radar build-up culminating with a national tweet by Ira Winderman of the Sun-Sentinel reporting his "decision" ...kind of like everything else we've "witnessed" in sports in 2010.
Clearly, this is bitterly disappointing to all of us, but hold off on taking that entire bottle of prescription pills. No, seriously, put the bottle down and step away from the medicine cabinet.
The good news is...well I'm still working on that part, but what is left of you simply don't deserve this kind of cowardly betrayal. Again.
You have given so much while we were winning and deserve so much more.
In the meantime, I want to make one statement to you tonight:
"I PERSONALLY GUARANTEE THAT THE CLEVELAND CAVALIERS WILL FILL OUT A 15 MAN ROSTER BEFORE THE SELF-TITLED 'BIG Z,' LEBITCH JAMES, AND PAP RILEY'S NEW TEAM DOES!"
You can take that to the bank, baby!
(Side note: I know I promised an NBA championship on my last open letter, but now that I'm sober, I figured some more attainable goals were in order.)
It's obvious some people think they can go to South Beach without feeling the scornful wrath of Dan Gilbert.
No sir, that's simply not how it works.
Staying with one team for 14 years then fleeing the sinking ship because our franchise player abandoned us and we're probably going to win less than 20 games in 2011 is the exact opposite lesson we want our children to learn. You're suppose to go down playing with the ship like the band on the Titanic.
I mean, who does this Lithuanian piece **** think he is? First LeBroad, and now our longest tenured player?! Fourteen years! And you missed nearly three of them! We knew you when you had hair and didn't look like the guy from the movie "Powder" mother****er! I know where you live!
Now, by the powers vested in Dan Gilbert, the so-called "curse" on Cleveland has been "sent" down south with the self-declared former "King." That's done. I have "something" even better for this "Big Z" guy, season tickets to the Cavaliers after his "mysterious" season-ending knee injury when he returns to Cleveland to collect his belonging, that I will have "nothing" to do "with." I will "also" have "nothing" to do "with" the "dead horse's head" "stuffed with chopped up horse wang" found in his "bed."
Oh, and Dan LeBaLard-ass, don't think I forgot about you. If I see you streets I'm slapping the **** out of you! Put some epic music behind that, *****!
Sleep well, what is left of Cleveland.
Put the knife down, tomorrow will be a new and much brighter day....
I PROMISE you that our energy, focus, capital, knowledge and experience will be directed at one thing and one thing only:
KEEPING YOU from committing the suicide that is long overdue....

Random News Shit: NBA Free Agency Edition Pt. 6
This time last week the Heat only had 2 players on their roster (Chalmers and Beasley), now they're up to 7 as the 7'3" Lithuanian (and former LeBron teammate) agrees to join the show. Finally Miami adds big body to the mix, and they'll probably need 1 or 2 more. I'm not shocked they picked him over Shaq considering the way Shaq bashed the club after he was traded in 2008.
The Jazz get Al Jefferson, the Wolves get 2 future first round picks. Great, now we can get reports about Jefferson's 2011 season-ending inury out of Utah instead of Minnesota.
This comes after backing out of the 3-team deal that would've sent Chandler to the Raptors Monday. Good for the Bobcats...though I still wish they would've swung a shocker and sent him to the Wolves to continue building the Minnesota Unachievers.
Good for Q. He revitalized in Miami last season, and now he's moving on. I guess shooting wide open 3's isn't his thing.
6) Kobe To Meet With Raja Bell About Joining Lakers
Well this is fine as long as Kobe knows the Heat could have him if they want him. Seems like the Heat and Lakers are in an arms race, right??
7) Nets Acquire Anthony Morrow In A Sign-and-Trade
The Nets will continue to suck well into the 2011 season, but they now have their hands on one of the hottest up and coming shooters the league has to offer. I would've loved to have him in Miami.
The deal is for three-years and worth $12 million.
Bill Simmons: The Decision
Simmons is still way off base on the whole situation for the most part, but this was hilarious still. You can tell the Sports Guy really studied the tape of LeBron's decision because he had it down. I loved when he referred to himself as Bill Simmons lol.
(Side note: LeBron, Wade, and Bosh aren't better than Jordan, Pippen, and Rodman?? It's an argument, not a given like Simmons is suggesting. Obviously Jordan is better than both LeBron and Wade, but LeBron and Wade are also both better than Pippen. And Bosh is better overall than Rodman. If there was a draft with these 6 guys, it'd go like this: 1) Jordan 2) LeBron 3) Wade 4) Pippen 5 Bosh 6) Rodman.
Now I'm not saying the '11 Heat are gonna win 72 games like the '96 Bulls, but this argument isn't just cut and dry.)
This Week In Flops 7/13/10
First up we have the sequel to Capone-N-Noreaga's 1997 classic debut album, The War Report 2. Last year's CNN release Channel 10 didn't do so well in the sales department, but I expect a biggest number this time around. Not much bigger, but still bigger. I'm guessing somewhere in the 10-40k range.
Don't look now, but Paul Wall is now dropping his 5th studio album. Paul Wall hasn't seen much mainstream success since the Houston, TX movement fell off, but that hasn't stopped him from making music and cranking out albums like it has some other (i.e. Mike Jones, Chamillionaire, etc). That's a good thing. I'm gonna guess 20-60 for Mr. Wall.
Whenever I talk about albums that never dropped, Statlanta is routinely included on every occasion. Well that's no more as Stat Quo's debut album has been released today on Sha Money XL's Dream Big Ventures label after being on the self for a whopping 7 years.
Anyway, there wasn't much promo for Statlanta, but I'm sure he finally wanted to drop it and move on with his career. I'll be shocked mightily if sells more than 10,000 copies first week. I know that sounds bad, but when an album has been on the shelf that long and is just dropped without warning, you can't expect much higher. I say 3-10k.
(Side note: I guess I gotta take Statlanta off my "Top 10 Debut Albums That Will Never Debut" list. Good thing I haven't recorded that podcast yet lol.)
R.I.P. George Steinbrenner
Well, at least he got to see his team win one last World Series last fall. I'll be interested to see what kind of tribute the MLB puts together for George at the All-Star Game tonight, and also what kind of tribute the Yankees do when the season restarts at Yankee Stadium this Friday the 16th.

Dan LeBatard Rejoices Over The Three Kings Pt. 2
Dan's first rejoicing rant exploded on YouTube over the weekend, so what did he do? Came back for an encore on Monday! I actually left work to go outside in my car and listen to this lol. Enjoy.
How Do You Like It Shaved??
I am truly man. Even though I was basically told what was going to happen in this video, I still fell for it. Then again, if you're a straight male, how could you resist thinking about vagina right here?? Hell, if you're the average straight male, you were probably already thinking about vagina before you even thought to play the video lol.
Thanks to Simon over at Bloggasm.com for sending it.
Big Papi Wins The Homerun Derby
Thank goodness the Derby turned around because it started off extremely slow. After the first 2 batters got things started off with a combined 3 homers, I was beginning to miss the steroids era. Who am I fooling, I miss the steroids era anyway. I almost shed a tear when Joe Budden's Pump It Up came on and there were no jokes to be made. Sad stuff. And speaking of things I miss, what happened to those colored streaks shooting star thingies that ESPN trotted out last year?? Yeah, we need those back.

Nobody's Gonna Get Pregnant: Katy Perry's FAKE Boobs!!
NNNOOOOOOOO!!!!!!! I regret to inform you that this picture is a fake. That's right, fake, phony, ersatz! Here's the original. Sigh. I knew those titties were just too good to be true. And to think, I was actually considering listening to California Gurls...okay, no I wasn't.
Damn, this pisses me off because I didn't bother doing the extensive research and examination on this pic as I've done on others, such as the Rihanna nudes. I studied those pics for hours! I admit, I dropped the ball here, sorry. I blame MTV.
Anyway, thanks to my friend and yours, Bill Simmons, for setting me straight.
(Side note: Being insulted by one of your heroes is quite the overrated experience. I mean, once I saw Bill Simmons had been on my website I was excited, but once I read what he wrote I felt about 20% of what he felt when Clemens left the Red Sox. Oh well, I'm just some guy with a website.)
(Side side note: Fuck that side note, it's still pretty awesome Simmons was on my website! ...Well, if that was really Simmons. I've been duped once, I don't wanna make it a habit.)YYEEEESSSSSSS!!!!!!! I've been wanting to post this since it leaked to the internet a week or so ago, but I didn't wanna alarm the fine folks at MTV running the TJ contest. They didn't pick me, so fuck it, I'm running with it!
Look at those titties, son! Who knew Katy Perry was working with all that?? No wonder she was able to tame Russell Brand from being a "professional prostitute" lol. I still don't think she should've been #1 on Maxim Hot 100 list, but those juggies would at least make me consider it now....I'd still say someone else should've been #1, but it's the thought that counts, right? Right.
Okay, that is all. Hopefully a sex tape follows.

Rick Ross - Free Mason (feat. Jay-Z & John Legend) (Prod. by The Inkredibles)
Aight, we've had enough leaks off Teflon Don at this point, so this is the last one I'm going to post. The album drops in 10 days, so that means it'll leak in about 5. I'm sure we can all survive until then lol. Okay, lets do this!
I was gonna start this off with some quotables from Jay-Z's verse, but then I realized the whole verse is one big ass quotable. That was simply masterful. And then to hear about how long it took him to craft it, it's just AMAZING. You can say whatever you want about the man, but he is truly gifted.
As far as the rest of the song goes, it went hard as well. Rick's verse wasn't in Hov's ballpark, but then again, why should it have to be?? What Jay laid down was all-time great, and Ross didn't come wack so that's all we can ask for. It's also nice to hear John Legend back to the crooning that made him famous, and not on that big "We Are The World" type shit he was on with Evolver.
Man, this Teflon Don shit is really shaping up to be a timeless classic. After Ricky's rough 2009, who would've thunk it??
