Real Or Fake: Ving Rhames Interview
No need to even discuss this one, this is 100,000% fake. Clearly it was just promo for that retarded new movie "Piranhas 3D," but this bit was poorly executed. They should've kept Ving talking about the white lady from MTV telling him to tone it down and the radio show host should've kept trying to get him to talk about the movie. Once Ving started talking about the movie himself, everything fell apart and it just became retarded. They get points for trying, but overall this wasn't very funny.
Chuck, Legend, & Scottie Weigh In On LeBron
Larry Bird and Scottie Pippen's opinions were fine to me, but Charles Barkley's still bothers me a bit. Look, we can all agree "The Decision" was a bad idea, but like Scottie said outside of that, it was his decision to leave Cleveland. I have no beef with anyone who said "The Decision" was dumb because it was, my problem is with people who are mad at him for leaving the Cavs, like Charles Barkley and that cunt Michelle Beadle from SportsNation. Get over it!

7.5 Wins For The 2010 Cowboys??
Now before all my Cowboys fan get all Mel Gibson-mad at Aaron Schatz and crew, just know this prediction is based on a bunch of statistics, formulas, and other who-ha I don't understand. No worries, Tim MacMahon of ESPNDallas.com got FO's Bill Barnwell to explain it, and it's only fair we give them a shot, so click here to check it out.
Okay, checked it out enough?? Aight, let's proceed:
Bullshit! Bullshit, bullshit, bullshit, oh yeah, and then there was some bullshit.
The #1 reason the Cowboys are going to win 7.5 games is because of injuries?? Really?? Now, I'm not saying there won't be injuries, it's football, of course there will be injuries, but how do you say one team is more likely to have injuries than another?? Is there a stat or formula for that?? If so, I'd LOVE to see it. Again, I'm not saying the Cowboys won't have injuries, but for that to be FO's #1 reason the they will be under .500 is just retarded.
The #2 reason is valid (though John Clayton said the same thing last year and it didn't effective us until the playoffs) so let's move on to #3: the Giants and Redskins will be better. No really, that was Bill's third reason, the Giants and Redskins will be better. And to think that I actually thought #1 was retarded.
Let's examine this further: the Cowboys will play the G-men and 'Skin 4 times this season. In 2009 the 'Boys went 2-2 against these 2 clubs (2 losses to the Giants, 2 wins against the Redskins), and let's just say in 2010 they split the 4 games again (Cowboys split 1-1 with both). You don't think the Cowboys can string together 7 or 8 more wins out of the remaining 12 games again to make the playoffs?? I know our schedule is tough, but I do. I mean, the 'Boy just did it last year.
Okay, now let's get even crazier and say the Cowboys lose all 4 games against the vastly improved Giants and Redskins. That would mean they Cowboys would have to win at least 9 of their remaining 12 games to finish over .500, and most likely 10 of the 12 to make the playoffs. That's a bit more unrealistic, but then again, isn't expecting the Cowboys to lose all 4 of these division games unrealistic as well?? That's what FO would need to happen to help out their argument of 7.5 wins for the Cowboys.
Besides all this, and in all seriousness, how much better are the Redskins going to be than they were last year?? They only won 4 games in 2009, so technically if they win 5 they're better, right?? Right. All I'm saying is let's wait and see with the Redskins. They have 3 old running backs and the #2 receiver on their depth chart is the 38 year-old Joey Galloway.
(Side note: Division records aren't everything anyway. If I'm not mistaken, the 2009 Jets went 2-4 in the AFC East and still finished over .500 and still made the playoffs. I'm just saying.)
The last part I wanted to talk about is at the bottom where they ask Bill what's the Cowboys' biggest weakness. Now I don't disagree that safety is our biggest weakness, but what's with saying DeSean Jackson will have a "field day against Dallas downfield at some point this year"?? Really, you mean like he did last season?? You know, when he had a "field day" stacking up 8 catches, 90 yards, and 1 touchdown...IN 3 GAMES! Yeah, we better beware of the guy who couldn't even get off when Ken Hamlin was back there.
I'm done!
Brian Pumper Gets Clowned
It's easy to roast Brian Pumper for his lack of talent as a rapper, but that other porno nigga and his weird looking boys started going at something near and dear to Pumper's heart – his jewelry. There's no doubt Brian has money because he's been doing porn since like 2002, but I wouldn't doubt those jewels are indeed fake. I mean, he wants to be a real rapper doesn't he?? Well these days real rappers usually have real fake jewelry, so maybe Brian just wanted to fit in with the Plies and Gucci Manes of the world? Makes sense to me. He did look like his feelings were hurt though.
Thursday Billboard Update - 8/12/10
After being beat out by Avenged Sevenfold's Nightmare by 3,847 albums last week, Eminem's Recovery still can't recover the #1 spot being best by 4,006 by Arcade Fire's The Suburbs this week. Recovery moves 152,073 in its 7th week and The Suburbs sells 156,079 in its first. What a great problem to have if you're Eminem. I'm sure his double platinum status next week will make up for it. Recovery has sold 1,980,373 copies thus far.
Also, Bun B's Trill O.G. debuts at #4 with 40,530 sold.
Eminem and Rihanna's Love The Way You Lie retains the #1 spot over on the Hot 100 this week, but there's no telling how long that will last as Taylor Swift new single Mine debuts at #3 after only a few days of its release.

50 Cent Mel Gibsons Shyne
50 is a fuckin' fool lol. It's funny this happened now because I was just watching those 50 video when he was humiliating Rick Ross and listening to those awful Shyne tracks he released earlier this year.
Anyway, Def Jam deserves this for still having Shyne under contract. I mean, of course signing him seemed like a good idea at the time, but once they heard the flaming turds he was producing in the studio on their dime, they should've took the Pete Carroll route and released him soon after like he was LenDale White. I'm just saying.
Kanye West - See Me Now (feat. Beyonce & Charlie Wilson)
First off, this beat is extremely average. I don't see why it took Kanye, No I.D., AND Lex Luger to make this, but I guess that's why I'm not in the industry now. The hook is pretty decent, nothing to write home about, but it doesn't suck. I was actually kinda surprised Kanye got Beyonce to say nigga on it. I don't know, just seemed odd. And speaking of odd, what was with that high note from Charlie Wilson from 4:44-4:56?? It was absolutely dreadful.
All isn't bad though, Kanye completely rips this apart lyrically. The hardest line on the whole thing very well may be when Ye says, "I know the flow just hit a hellified vertical, this is the Christ year, last year was Magic, 32." I had to bring that one back.
Overall, See Me Now is just OK. Hopefully it's the last song on the album, because really, where else would it fit?? I liken it to Thank Me Now, the last track on Drake's album. Well wherever it ends up on the tracklist, one thing is for sure: it definitely was NOT worth the Twitter hype. Maybe it'll grow on me when I hear it in context with the rest of the album, but until then, it's really nothing special. Bottom line, he's gonna have to come much harder to loosen Teflon Don's grip on album of the year.
With any luck, this will be Lex Luger's only contribution to the album. Nothing against him, but I feel like if he did another track it'd probably sound a lot like this one (See: B.M.F. and MC Hammer by Ross, Rick).
(Side note: Why doesn't Kanye say "free Weezy"?? I'd like to see Wayne freed from his BS prison bid as well, but by the time the album drops Wayne will either be out or about to get out anyway.)
A Few Thoughts On The Darrelle Revis Situation
Anyway, it's so tough to pick a side in this whole mess when you have no dog in the race. If I was a Jets fan I'd want him on the field. If I was a Patriots/Dolphins/Bills/all the other teams the Jets play this year, I'd want him off the field and be his side.
Even though it's close, I think I'd side with the owners here. The first reason is that the man still has years left on his contract. It'd be one thing if he was gonna be a free agent at the end of the season, but he's not. He's still gonna be under contract with the Jets. Then what?? Hold out again??
The next reason I'd siding with the owner is because asking for Nnamdi Asomugha money is retarded. Al Davis is the only owner dumb enough to give a DB that kind of contract. Now do I think he should get close to it?? Sure I do, he's the best corner in the game right now. Will he?? I doubt it. The difference between Nnamdi's situation and Revis' is that Nnamdi actually played out his contract, Revis hasn't. Revis is only 4 years in, Nnamdi is 8, and he's JUST got that deal last year. I'm sorry to say it, but you're gonna have to put more work in than that. I could see if Revis was a running back like Chris Johnson and had a short NFL-life expectancy, but he could realistically play well into his mid-to-late 30's if he wanted to. That meaning he could get 2 or 3 more contracts on top of the one he's gonna sign eventually.
Finally, these holdout situation just never seem to end well for the players. Skip Bayless spoke on this yesterday morning on First Take, and it's true. It's like the football gods frown upon it or something. Whatever it is, it just always seems to fall bad on the player.
Whatever happens with this Revis holdout situation it's just more evidence that the Jets are pretenders and not contenders. How are you contenders and you can't even get your best defensive player to come to camp?? And that's not even to mention how they lucked into a playoff berth last year by virtue of the Colts and Bengals deciding to rest starters.
I've said it before, and I'll say it again: '10 Jets = '08 Cowboys.

Young Jeezy Dissin' Rick Ross??
Huh?? Really?? I'm assuming Jeezy saying, "how you blowin' money fast, you don't know the crew? Oh, you part of the fam? Shit, I never knew," is the part people are saying is a diss to Rick, but I don't know about this one. I mean, that's pretty vague. I know Rick's B.M.F. stands for "blowing money fast," but that ain't strong enough to be considered a diss. Maybe a light jab, but not a diss. Naw, not even a light jab, more like a slight shoulder bump when 2 dudes are walking past each other.
Now here's my question, why is everybody thinking Death Before Dishonor is a diss and nobody said shit about B.M.F. (The Real Blowin' Money Fast)?? This is more of a slap in the face to Ricky than that. Check it out:
I'm just saying...
Mannie Fresh Playing New Beats For Mystikal!
WOOOOOOOO!!!!
As I've said many times on this very website, Mystikal was my favorite rapper long before Jay-Z was, so watching this got me SUPER hype! Just hearing that flow brings back great, great memories of me really starting to get into music. I mean, it was one thing for me to be into Kris Kross heavy (which I was as a kid) and me wanting to hear as much Hip-Hop as I could after hearing Mystikal's verse on Make 'Em Say Ugh when I was in 6th grade.
Clearly I'm happy he's home and I can't wait for him to start dropping some shit. Fingers crossed for Mannie solely lending beats and not hooks.
