Kanye West - Chain Heavy (feat. Talib Kweli & Consequence)
Aight, now that we're all caught out musically, let's do this G.O.O.D. Friday/Saturday thing. Plus, we have a little bonus by Talib Kweli and Consequence.
Since My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy leaked this past week, I thought we wouldn't get a G.O.O.D. Friday track, but I'm damn grateful we did! It still baffles me that someone could make songs as hot as this and they don't make the album. Honestly, I would've given up G.O.O.D. Fridays if Kanye would've just dropped a double disc album featuring all this crazy heat. I mean, these songs are just too hot to be aimlessly floating around on the internet. I'm just saying.
Okay, that Kweli and Cons bonus track is after the jump.
This isn't Jay-Z's American Dreamin', but it is damn good regardless. Kweli and Cons tore this track the fuck down in every way possible. In fact, I dare you to name one negative thing about this track.
...Don't waste your time, you can't.

It's The Roc!: Jay-Z Signs Jay Electronica
Welp, you heard it from the man himself, Jay Eletronica is the newest member of Roc Nation. This is awesome on so many levels, but most importantly, hopefully this will force Jay Elect to drop more than 2 songs per year.

The 30-30 Club
Congratulations are in order for Kevin Love because he just had the game of his life again the Knicks! You might've heard, but not only did he drop 31 points on their ass, but he also gobbled up 31 rebounds to go with it. That's good for the first 30-30 game since Moses Malone went for 38 and 32 against the Super Sonics in 1982! That's 28 years, my boy!
It totally amazes me how the Timberwolves could have Michael Beasley and Kevin Love both playing out of their minds and only have 3 wins through 10 games. As Sports Guy Bill Simmons would say, "KAAAAAAAAAHHHNNNN!"

Torch - Get Doe (feat. Cassidy & Crooked I)
Go ahead and prepare yourself to hear the dopest non-Rick Ross song involving a Triple C's member.
I feel like if this dropped in 2004 it would've been much hotter, but I still co-sign it. Torch did a decent job, and Cass and Crook did their thing as well. I approve of this message.

David Banner - Be With You (feat. Ludacris & Marsha Ambrosius)
David Banner and 9th Wonder hooked up with Ludacris and Marsha Ambrosius and this is the greatness we're left with. Death Of A Popstar hits stores December 21st, by the way.
Sick, sick, sick shit! The 9th track is on point, and Banner and Luda go back and forth like it's them who are dropping a collaborative album. Marsha adds a nice touch on the hook and this track is all around FIYAH!
Again, Death of A Popstar drops December 21st, so be on the look out for more heat!

Rihanna - Love The Way You Lie (Part 2) (feat. Eminem)
You all know I'm not a fan of Rihanna's music, but this is dope! And not just because Eminem murders the fuck out of it. RiRi actually did a nice job with the additional verses, and I really really like this version. The additions to the beat were nice too. I approve this message.
Big Boi - Tangerine (Remix) (feat. Rick Ross, T.I., Bun B & Khujo Goodie)
Here's an update from the original remix that dropped back in October. This time subtract T.I., and add new verses from Fabolous and Bun B.
MUCH better! I still would've liked to get a new Big Boi verse, but at least this track actually feels like a remix now, and not just a Rick Ross freestyle. Thank goodness for Fab and Bun for saving this remix.
On a scale of 1 to 10, what was your level of disappointment with this remix?? Mine was about an 8. I mean, this was just lazy. Two new verses, and then a bunch of stuff from the original?? That's lame. I mean, they could've at least put a new spin on the beat or something.
The good news is that Ross killed this shit. He should've just laid his verse down and put it out as a freestyle, it probably would've had about the same impact. I'm just saying.

Swizz Beatz - BANG BANG (feat. Pusha T & Pharrell)
New(-ish) Swizzy!
Where the fuck is Malice?? Did he get saved or something?? I mean, I almost thought Pusha was the better rapper, but damn, it's like this nigga or dropped off the face of the earth.
As far as thing song goes, it's good, but the hook gets annoying as fuck. Also, I have this weird feeling Lloyd Banks was supposed to be on this track. Don't worry if you don't get it, it's just an odd feeling I have.

Trick Daddy - Chevy/I Like It
Trick Daddy's new book "Autobiography Magic City: Trials of a Native Son" hits stores this Tuesday on the 16th (you can order it on Amazon now), so here's a few tracks to get our heads right.
I love the Jocedi sample, but I would've liked this song a lot more if it was just Trick by himself. The hook could've been better as well, but I fuck with either way.
Classic Trick and Trina. Sounds like they've been sitting on this one for a long while.

Cee-Lo Green - Please/Radioactive
Cee-Lo is on musical fire right now and I support that, so let's go in on 2 new ones from Lo. The first will be featured on the European version of The Lady Killer, and the latter is a Kings Of Leon cover song.
Classic Cee-Lo Green right chea. I loved it, and I'm mad it's not featured on the U.S. version. Oh well, I'm not complaining, the version we got was absolutely incredible regardless.
This definitely isn't for me because I'm not a KOL fan, but I guess it was alright.

Kanye West - Looking For Trouble (feat. Pusha T, Big Sean, CyHi Da Prynce & J. Cole)
Okay, time to update the website, but first let's catch up with some of the heat from over the last week...starting with LAST week's G.O.O.D. Friday track.
Nice little ditty, but nothing too incredible. Of course, like everyone else, I would've preferred to just hear Kanye and J. Cole trading verses, but this was fine for a first collaboration. Oh, and again I failed to hear the greatness of CyHi Da Prynce. Maybe I'm not listening close enough or something, but he just seems average, like a new version of GLC.

Kanye's TODAY Show Interview
Kanye West is so fuckin' funny to me. I feel sorry for the guy, but he is wildly entertaining.
Isn't it weird that Matt Lauer is almost totally oblivious to why Kanye might not want to see that video?? That was more odd than Kanye asking them to turn it off while he was talking.

NFL Winners & Losers: Week 10
Byes: Packers, Raiders, Saints, and Chargers.
1) Patriots (6-2) @ Steelers (6-2)
Welcome to this week's top game, Pats @ Steelers aka the Hair Bowl! Shampoo won't be the only creamy white substance shooting in the Head & Shoulders offices during this game. Aight, back to football...
It's funny how the NFL works, and how wishy washy the people who get paid to discuss it are. One week ago, the Patriots had the best record in the league (6-1) and everyone automatically thought that made them the best team...then they lost to the Browns, and now nobody knows what to think about them.
Welp, I hate to see what people think about the Pats after the lose this game Sunday night. Steelers winners, Patriots losers.
2) Eagles (5-3) @ Redskins (4-4)
Here's the way I see it: if Michael Vick can outduel Peyton Manning and the Colts, Donovan McNabb and the Redskins don't stand a chance. Hopefully Donovan took the off week to "get in shape." Eagles winners, Redskins losers.
3) Ravens (6-2) @ Falcons (6-2)
It's the battle of the 2008 NFL Draft QBs! It's debatable which is better after 2½ seasons, but I think Joe Flacco's team is a little bit better, especially now that Ed Reed is back. Ravens winners, Falcons losers.
(Side note: I fully expect to lose this pick. I don't have a stat, but I'm pretty sure road teams lose this Thursday night games more often than not.)
4) Titans (5-3) @ Dolphins (4-4)
The Dolphins are benching Chad Henne for Chad Pennington?? Well that's an awesome way to instill confidence in your young "QB of the future." Besides, the problem with the Dolphins this year isn't the QB, it's the poor play calling. Even Jason Garrett laughs when he sees the Dolphins' playcalling.
Anyway, I don't get this move, but since I have the Titans' defense on my fantasy team, so I support it. Titans winners, Dolphins losers.
5) Jets (6-2) @ Browns (3-5)
This could be the best 3 week stretch of Eric Mangini's life. First his team broke down the Super Bowl champion Saints, then he exacted revenge on Dollar Bill Sellatrick, and now he has a chance to beat the team that fire him a couple years ago.
Braylon Edwards will also be looking for revenge in this upcoming game, but judging by the Jets have played in the past few weeks, he won't get any. Browns winners, Jets losers.
(Side note: How garbage is Peyton Hillis?? I could see how the Broncos could have more use for Brady Quinn than Hillis, you know, with Denver's power running game and all.)
6) Cowboys (1-7) @ Giants (6-2)
The Giants are the best team in the NFC?? Word?? Here's a list of some of the QBs the Giants have faced this season:
Jimmy Clausen, Todd Collins, Caleb Hanie, Shaun Hill, Drew Stanton, Jon Kitna, and Charlie Whitehurst.
If anything, the label the Giants should be given is "Back-Up QB Killer" because they've beaten only one starting QB this entire season (Matt Schaub). In the other 2 games the G-Men played starting QBs, they lost by a combined score of 67-24. If Eli and crew can't beat Jon Kitna for the 2nd time in a month, it says more about them than it does about the Cowboys. Giants winners, Cowboys losers.
7) Texans (4-4) @ Jaguars (4-4)
I don't even know what to make of this game. I'm gonna blindly take the Texans, but I have no real reason to. Texans winners, Jaguars losers.
8) Bengals (2-6) @ Colts (5-3)
The Bengals are done, but they still could win this game. They won't, but they could. Colts winners, Bengals losers.
(Side note: Those refs didn't wanna let Indy lose last week, did they??)
9) Vikings (3-5) @ Bears (5-3)
The Bears suck, there's no reason the Vikings shouldn't win, no matter how much Brett Favre and Brad Childress hate each other. Vikings winners, Bears losers.
10) Rams (4-4) @ 49ers (2-6)
I still don't think the 49ers are good, but the Rams have yet to win on the road. 49ers winners, Rams losers.
11) Chiefs (5-3) @ Broncos (2-6)
If the Chiefs couldn't handle the mighty Jacoby Ford, I don't know what they're gonna do against the Broncos' passing attack, especially since that's the only attack the Broncos have. Broncos winners, Chiefs losers.
12) Lions (2-6) @ Bills (0-8)
As hard as the Bills have played, they've GOT to win eventually. I think things are finally setting up for that Sunday (Drew Stanton starting for the Lions). Bills winners, Lions losers.
13) Seahawks (4-4) @ Cardinals (3-5)
The benefits of trading a 3rd-round pick for Charlie Whitehurst is paying off. Unfortunately, it's not for the Seahawks. Cardinals winners, Seahawks losers.
14) Panthers (1-7) @ Buccaneers (5-3)
Tampa lost last week by a yard, they'll be win this week by a mile. Bucs winners, Panthers.
This Week: 6-8 (.429)
Overall Record: 82-62 (.569)
Last Week: 9-4 (.692)
