Elton Brands Agrees To 5-Year $82 Million Deal With The 76ers!

I told y'all it was stupid as hell for Baron Davis to sign with the Clippers last week! Now, not only is he not gonna have Corey Maggette's 22 and 6 (since he's gonna sign with the Warriors...like BD should have), but the real prized teammate, Elton Brand, is out too.

If you hadn't heard (or read in the title) Elton Brand is gonna be signing a 5-year $82 million contract with the 76ers, most likely, some time Wednesday. Look for the Sixers to make some real noise in the East next season if Brand can stay healthy. I mean they'll still eventually be eliminated by the Celtics or Cavs, but at least they'll make it out of the first round...maybe.

Damn, BD now you're stranded in Clipperland. Oh well, at least he gets the privilege to now suit up and play next to Dan Dickau, Brevin Knight, and Smush Parker...awesome. lol.
