Its been reported that Lamar Odom once said he only wanted to play for teams in cities with beaches, and he certainly played like it in Dallas. It's not like the Mavs were poised to repeat after blatantly clearing space to sign Deron Williams this summer, but you've got to be playing awfully shitty for a team to essentially say, "Thanks, but no thanks, just go home."
Unfortunately for beach teams like Miami, L.A. and L.A., this does not mean he's a free agent, so he can't sign with a new team he'd rather play for. Oh well, at least it will serve as an interesting plot twists on the next season of whatever Kardashian show it is that he stars in.
