Jeremy Lin will have surgery on his left knee to repair a torn meniscus and is due to be out for 6 weeks, which effectively ends his season. That's right, Linsanity is officially over.
...Of course if the Knicks make the playoffs and upset their first round opponent (most likely the Bulls), we could see Lin return at some point in May...but I doubt that happens. Then again, the 8th seeded Knicks did knock off the #1 seeded Heat and make a run to the Finals in the last lockout shortened season in 1999, so it's not an impossibility. Improbable, but definitely not impossible.
