Thursday Billboard Update - 10/16/08

T.I.'s Paper Trail starts its 2nd week atop the Billboard 200 despite a 69% sales decline by pushing 177,00 units out the store. Jennifer Hudson's self-titled debut beats T.I. by having a 71% sales decline and moves down to notches 2-4 this week. For all the math wizzes, that's 63,000 sold in her 2nd week. The last record of importance is Ne-Yo's 3rd album Year Of The Gentleman which slips 6-8 after a 33% decline. This week's top 10 casualties are my boy Robin Thicke, Whit's boy Jack Mannequin (lol), Kellie Pickler, and Jazmine Sullivan.

Guess what?? After T.I. broke T.I.P.'s Hot 100 record, Britney Spears breaks that record with her new single Womanizer jumping 96-1. She was looking fine as hell at the VMAs, but now it looks like she might actually be back. The only other new track pushing its way onto the top 10 is Ne-Yo's Miss Independent which jumps 2 spots (11-9).
