Last month Debo told TMZ that there were talks to make a new "Friday" with Chris Tucker, but now TMZ has gotten confirmation from a rep at Cube Vision that that's indeed the case. Fucking finally!
Let me ask you a question, what was the last great black comedy movie? Don't worry, I'll wait.
It's hard to say, right? And even if you did come up with a movie, I bet it wasn't released within the last 5 years. My point is this: black comedy needs a new "Friday" movie because there hasn't been a hilarious black comedy since "Friday After Next" came out in 2002. That's damn near a decade! I never thought I would say this, but Cube, the future of black comedy movies is in your hands.
