NFL Winners & Losers: Week 11

1) Cowboys (5-4) @ Redskins (6-3)
I've been anxiously awaiting this game for weeks now and I almost can't believe its here. The sad part is that I'm not anxious because I know we're gonna kill the Redskins but because I don't know what to expect. Like I don't know if we're gonna come out gunning like we did against the Browns with Romo or struggle like we did against the Cardinals. Then again, either way its better than whatever Bad Johnson has to offer. Plus, we just got a huge boost with Portis likely not suiting up. I gotta take my Cowboys with this absolutely being a must-win game. Cowboys winners, Redskins losers.

2) Titans (9-0) @ Jaguars (4-5)

Normally a game featuring a team that's under .500 would be #2 on my list, but since it is, you know what that means. Upset alert! We all know the Titans aren't going 16-0 and I think this is the game that proves that. Jaguars winners, Titans first time losers.

3) Ravens (6-3) @ Giants (8-1)
This should be a good one! Everyone sees the Giants as a dominant force, but I see them as a mistake prone team that is more so lucky than anything else (kinda like my Cowboys last year). Week in and week out the Giants seem to make big mistakes and are bailed out by either the refs or bigger mistakes by the opposing team. Unfortunately for the G-men, as of late, Joe Flacco and the Ravens haven't been making many mistakes. Ravens winners, Giants losers.

4) Jets (6-3) @ Patriots (6-3)
This should be an interesting game and if you're like me and don't have NFL Network you can watch the game live online and NFL.com/Live.

Anyway, I got good news and bad news for the Jets. The bad news is they haven't really beaten anybody because of their soft schedule. The good news is that the Pats have been the same nobodies because they played pretty much the same schedule lol. Cassel should be good with Brady back to mentor him, but the New York Bretts picked up Ty Law this week and he knows a thing or 2 about the Pats offense. Jets winners, Pats losers!

5) Broncos (5-4) @ Falcons (6-3)
I picked against the Falcons and Matt Ryan (or as the homie DJ calls him "Matty Ice" lol) again last week and again got burned. As tempting as it is to go with Jay Cutler and the Broncos, I'm gonna have to rock with Atlanta who's undefeated at home. Falcons faithful, consider yourself jinxed lol. Falcons winners, Broncos losers.

6) Bears (5-4) @ Packers (4-5)

Nothing like a good ol' division rivalry! It would probably be a more interesting game with Brett Favre and a capable Brian "who's laughing now...me!" Urlacher, but this should still be a pretty good game. Kyle Orton makes his return this week, but I'm worried he rushed himself back from that ankle injury and won't be effective. Plus, I just don't see the Packers losing 3 in a row. Packers winners, Bears losers.

7) Vikings (5-4) @ Buccaneers (6-3)

Adrian Peterson seems to be hitting his stride now and that equals nothing but trouble for opposing defenses around the league. Since their week 8 bye, A.D. has rushed for just 2 yards less (331) than what Gus Frerotte has thrown for (333). Both obviously wins for the Vikes.

On the other side, the Bucs have a strong defense and their offense is getting their Cadillac back. Williams will probably be rusty and Peterson will be running full speed ahead so I gotta take the Minnesota to keep their winning streak alive and claim the top spot in the NFC North. Vikings winners, Bucs losers.

8) Chargers (4-5) @ Steelers (6-3)

The Chargers are quite possibly the biggest disappointment in the league right now and that's with Rivers having a career year. Coming off their one point win against the Chiefs, they'll come back to the East coast and get stomped out by the Steelers. Steelers winners, Chargers losers.

9) Texans (3-6) @ Colts (5-4)

I've been watching the Colts lately and they Peyton and Harrison haven't completely hit their stride, they are still finding ways to win. Reggie Wayne hasn't practiced much this week, but if he's able to go, Indy should win big at home...and that's without a Sage Rosenfels meltdown in the last 2 minutes lol. Colts winners, Texans losers.

10) Browns (3-6) @ Bills (5-4)
The Bills are slumping big time, but what's a better time to get back on track than against the Browns?? Bills winners
, Browns losers.

11) Eagles (5-4) @ Bengals (1-8)
Though I'm officially anti-Eagles and in no way want them to win, them losing to the Bengals is pretty far fetched. Eagles winners, Bengals losers (though I'll still be rooting them on lol).

12) Cardinals (6-3) @ Seahawks (2-7)
Everyone keeps telling me how impressed I should be with the Cardinals, but I just don't see it. I mean Kurt Warner is putting up big numbers with that three-headed monster at WR, but they're just 6-3 playing in a division where everybody else is 2-7, and would've been 5-4 if not for the ineptness of the 49ers coaching staff in the last minute. They should still win this game, but with Matt Hasselbeck and Deion Branch returning the Seahawks will give them a run for they money as did the Niners on MNF. Cardinals winners, Seahawks losers.

13) Saints (4-5) @ Chiefs (1-8)

I don't know if the Chargers are just that bad, or if the Chiefs are actually starting to figure it out, but this has trap game written all over it. In KC's last 3 losses they lost by a total of 8 points (3 points a loss) including a game where the Jets needed OT to take them out. The Saints have been less than impressive themselves (but did also manage to pull out a W against the Chargers) so they could be walking into a trap. Unfortunately for the Chiefs, I think the Saints pull it together, play with some urgency, and squeak out a win. Saints winners, Chiefs losers.

14) Rams (2-7) @ 49ers (2-7)
I guess somebody has to win this game, huh? The 49ers showed signs last week, but fumble away their chances at the end while the Rams showed signs about 4-5 weeks ago. Niners winners, Rams losers.

15) Panthers (7-2) @ Detroit (0-9)
This should be a trap game since the Panthers barely got out of Oakland with a win last week. Then again, Jake Delhomme went 7-27 for 72 and 4 INTs and they still won by 11. I doubt he'll have a repeat performance. Panthers winners, Lions (still) losers.

16) Dolphins (5-4) @ Raiders (2-7)
The Dolphins are over .500 for the first time since the 05-06 season and the Raiders actually have 2 wins so why am I so not interested in this game?? Because after the Raiders fired Lane Kiffin its pretty much been all downhill. Like I said above of the Panthers/Lions game, Delhomme only completed 7 of his 27 passes and had 4 interceptions and the Raiders still found a way to lose. Why would anyone want to watch that?? Dolphins winners, Raiders themselves losers.

Last Week Record: 11-3 (.786)
Overall Record: 54-29 (.651)
